The pompous atheist thinks he is above it all...there is no higher being. That's why God just does not cut it for them. Of course none of them are at death's door. They are in fact doing everything possible to postpone death. Look at 'em eating, exercising and doing all things necessary to separate themselves from their end of days. But when most arrive at that point in their lives then the God they joked about and made light of isn't such a bad thing after all. Obviously they feared the unknown all along and that’s why they spent their lives pacifying themselves with stupidity.

Where is the proof that there is a God? Nobody is required to believe in your mythology or to even take it seriously.

There are no atheists at death's door. Just like the old saying there are no atheists in a war zone fox hole. People under stress, people with no where else to turn, often do turn to God. If there are people there willing to take advantage, it is called a religion. I bet most of the religions will be supporting the GOP so there will be more stress, more people with no where to turn, and the ranks of those trapped in some church will swell, giving more power, and more money to the church leaders willing to take that advantage.

Why do you suppose most churches turn into parasites on our communities? Why can't they actually serve man and God, without taking so much for themselves? Why not real service. I bet if any church actually did that they would grow wildly. Instead you get most of the churches working hard to create the conditions of disease and destruction to get more members.

Everything that tastes good is bad for you. Mere chance or part of God's plan?

Why should anyone really care about a candidate's religion or lack of unless he is an ignorant fundietard willing to impose his religion on normal people. When churches pay taxes than they can engage in politicking!

Normally people don't care what brand of belief you have unless you're trying to invoke your beliefs to rule other people's lives.

God takes sides in politics here below?

Like He cares about the outcomes of football games.
Or NASCAR races.

Religiosity, like patriotism, is so easy to fake and Republicans are the very best at it in both cases.

Republicans: Fakes, frauds and phonies.

Toss in a huge helping of hypocrisy and you have your average GOPer.

Pure filth.

The Republican convention: Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Right, just like all prisoners discover God on their death bed many decide that they were wrong. LOL It's said there is no God in our school rooms, bet they weren't looking on the day of the big test.

Exactly, God gave us free will, you can believe or not, it's up to you and nowhere in America is the belief in God, any God, a requirement for anything. You don't believe, fine, enjoy your life and when you die, nada! Or maybe not, you might just be in for a big surprise, but either way, it's your choice and it's also none of your business what anyone else believes and it definitely is not left to you to belittle those who do believe. So, keep the angry words and derision to yourself, they only reflect on the type of person YOU are.
