6 out of 10 support a path to citizenship. Sounds like, hm, a majority?

I doubt that 6 out of 10 LEGAL Hispanic immigrants would support amnesty. Maybe 3 out of 10 Americans support amnesty but it's a known fact that 30%
of the people in every poll are totally ignorant. That would explain why there is ANYONE who would favor such a crazy position. Amnesty only benefits the rich exploiters.

Doing nothing benefits the rich exploiters. A path to citizenship and they no longer pick oranges or cut sugar cane. Only the undocumented take such menial jobs.

Make them legal and they become lazy Americans who sit at home drinking beer and waiting for their monthly check from...

Then we will need to import new illegals to do the work.

There is another solution that has never been tried. It's called enforcing our current laws. Pass an Everify law on top of laws we already have and enforce it. Illegals would leave, wages would rise, unemployment would fall, our overcrowded courts, schools, jails, cities, roads, hospitals etc. etc. would go back to normal and it would be a much better place. Our youth might even have a future.

Africans are at the root of all those problems... not Mexicans... unfortunately Lincoln did not send them all home after abolition.

Why should I have to prove that I am in this country legally? The Anglo features and the southern twang should be good enough. Only fascists and communists go around demanding people's "papers". I should have to prove nothing when I apply for a job. Just like thirty years ago.

Why should American citizens surrender their rights to satisfy the paranoia of a bunch of malcontent teabaggers?

If by Africans you're referring to the people this country enslaved in the 17 and 1800s, you are referring to American citizens. You are in no way equal to them. You are users, slugs and scam artists. They were wronged and you are just wrong. You insult Blacks by comparing them with you.

30 years ago and before, the government was actually enforcing our immigration laws. You have to prove who you are to join the military. Why is it ok to search you if you want to fly on an airlines?

The communist don't want to see your papers when you vote, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Who are these 6 in 10 Americans? Are these new immigrant Americans?
