The bleak future of a Republican Party without Ron Paul
Oh, the GOP will still be around. We will still get to see faux-conservative candidates paraded around during election season as the purported saviors of America from the socialist menace.

Looking at the 2012 election, the recovery has stalled, deficits are at records, Obama has not delivered on so many campaign promises, unemployment is a chronic problem, our debt rating for the first time has been downgraded and our foreign policy is in shambles. Yet it looks like Obama will win. If the GOP cannot win in an environment like this, they should start all over because they may never win another Presidential election. The democrats have a growing base due to support of the nearly 50% that pay no income taxes, the 100 million that receive some form of government aid and the minority vote that is growing fast.
And then there is Ron Paul, a candidate that had the youth behind him. A candidate that had 10X the support he had a mere 4 years ago and many of his policies that he supported look more and more like they were the right direction to take including:
Bringing our troops home from all over the world.
Making major cuts and eliminating programs to eliminate our deficit.
Stop all foreign aid
Audit the Fed
Those policies are looking better and better every day.
