Prime ministers are not elected in the UK.

And I have as much say on who will be the next PM as you.
What you are sure of is irrelevant BS and for sure we are not all dirty morons like you.

AGAIN, for the hard of thinking - Only after being elected TWICE by popular vote first by constituency and then the party members does a person become leader of their party. Even so, if that entire party does not have the majority public vote the leader cannot become PM. If and only if the party (or coalition of parties) has a popular majority of voters will the position of the leader of that party (or coalition) be approved by the queen.

Why do you have such difficulty understanding the concept of democracy?

Presidents, resign, get assassinated or die naturally, who cares? When they die (for whatever reason) or resign there are replaced, each and very one of them by choice of 2nd best.

Yes, true, Unless my local MP decides to run as party leader and then I may respectfully suggest you are talking out you’re a$$

Nope, lets get this straight you ignorant drippydick cuckold, you make claims but you have not accepted the FACTS as presented to you, there is considerable difference between your pedantic ignorance and proof. Your “proof” of and incident that happened more than 50 years ago is irrelevant to today’s governmental structure.

No UK guarantee of freedom of speech.
And do see those examples of recent arrests of persons expressing themselves who were jailed.
You once again appear to have a total blind spot when it comes to Human Rights – Read the convention you ignorant moron. Unlike the US I believe you will find that the UK is a signatory party. It’s no good ignoring it and hoping it will go away, life is not like that

And in so expressing themselves were proven in LAW to have acted irresponsibly and to have broken the LAW. That my dear little drippydick butt breath cuckold is the whole idea of the LAW, to protect the public.

Before you go to bed tonight look up “mind reading”

More trouble, that’s a C you moron, not a G, perhaps you need to get you sight checked out.

Did you see that word LAW?
What about the phrase “necessary in a democratic society”?
How about this real humdinger “in the interests of national security”

Please note that in the interest of national security the US has cart blanch over every US citizen no matter what the constitution says. True you are welcome to argue it in court when (if) you have been released from your government dictated waterborarding sessions but hey, so are we.https://www.rienner.com/upl oads/47e148fd47a65.pdf

You seem to be confused by the concept of responsibly – it is perhaps your schizophrenia or OCD or something like that but more than likely just the basic me, me, me attitude that so many Americans are indoctrinated with at school.

[/QUOTE]

Presidents are elected, not appointed.

Prime ministers are appointed, not elected.

No prime minister in the history of time in the UK has been elected to office.

None. Never. Zero.

Presidents are elected. Vice presidents are elected. If presidents die or are removed from office, the vice president fills that term- of the elected president- at which time he/she is replaced by another elected president.

Americans understand when they elect the president, they also elect the vice president in case the president is replaced.

Elect.

Now: is a constitutional monarchy a monarchy, yes or no?

I like making NotBots LIE in print.

You mean I have refuted what you have presented as facts and you have rolled around on your fat bigoted behind and said it wasn't true, like when decided the two enigma machines captured in Norway don't count.

Is a constitutional monarchy an monarchy, yes or no?

Remember: you have already insisted no one here has denied UK was a monarchy.

The hypocrisy is so thick that you could cut it with a knife.

You are the master of definitions. You think that all there is to a social science paper is 1), find an online dictionary, 2) copy-paste a definition, then 3) submit it. Job done.

Nobody denies for one second that we have a monarchy or that she wields certain powers.

What we are denying is your ludicrous claims that we are not a democracy as a result of having a monarchy and that these powers actually mean anything. They do not. The Queen acts like a nice lady and only uses them when required.

Want to prove that Britain is a monarchy and only a monarchy? Cross off your dictionary link and actually show the Queen in action making her own laws, engaging in her own diplomacy, and dissolving governments based not on electoral or party obligations, but on her own, based on her own political convictions.

Good luck, manchild. You will certainly need it.

And also a democracy. Denying this is like claiming a kangaroo is a mammal but not a marsupial. It is a member of both families - just like Britain has both a monarchy yet a democractic system.
