In short order, all past immigrants where not altogether legal. You are telling a danm lie. Show me the paper work.
I didn't say they were. I said most were. Those who weren't here legally and got caught were deported immediately, as one of my great-uncles learned. He was on Ellis Island within hours of being caught in Brooklyn, NY, and placed on a ship to Italy three days later.

So, I'm not lying. It's that you're reading comprehension needs a little polishing.

We look forward to seeing a list of those who are not attending who still support President Obama.
Pelosi was very smart having Obama wait to pander to Illegals until he absolutely had to out of desparaton.

She knew that even Union members might object to the provisions of the Dream Act which rob their own kids of seats in Colleges and force citizens to pay for illegals kids to take their kids places. Only sub par Calif variety citizens would stand for that monumental betrayal of the public trust.

Does a man from Greece look like a man from Ireland No, not even close. Not by genetics, geography, ethnicity, culture or language. But you've got the cajones to call others racists."

The White America I'm referring to are the those whites who are under the impression that this country was somehow created mainly for them, by only their ancestors, for the purpose of benefiting only their kind. The fact is that this country was built on the backs of many different individuals of many different ethnicity's, sometimes as slaves, sometimes as free men but nevertheless their contributions were real.

"Here's a few things all past immigrants have in common.
Most came here legally, and those who were caught here illegally were deported in short order."

Most is still not all.

"Most came here with little in material goods or means. All they had was determination and all they wanted was the opportunities not available to them in their native countries.
They didn't come with their hands out, looking for the taxpayers to support them, house them, feed them or medicate them. It was sink or swim, work or go hungry."

Those programs weren't there for those immigrants, had they been they would have been used just as readily. There are no differences in poor people. The people coming here now are just as determined but if they're being offered help by the govt. they're going to take. Be realistic.

"They didn't come here and demand that Americans learn their language. But for most, their highest priority was learning English, for the sooner you mastered the language, the sooner you would get ahead."

No one is demanding that Americans learn any language. Businesses chose to cater to a market of Spanish Speaking customers. That is why you see Spanish being spoken in so many places. Some people are so quick to blame the people for the actions of Americans taking advantage in a free Capitalist system.

"They didn't game the system, for there was no system in place for them to game. They didn't drive illegally, never mind drunk, because to get caught would likely mean deportation. They didn't openly and without fear, work under the table and steal jobs from other working-class citizens, for again, to get caught would mean deportation."

There has always been those who "gamed" the system. Haven't you heard of the Maffia? Prohibition? Driving drunk? You've got to be kidding. Do you know how much of this country was built through crime?

"You can make all the racist arguments that you like, but no one is buying it, so you may as well argue with your own reflection in a mirror. Today's immigrants are nothing like past immigrants, and whether you want to understand it or not, that is the problem."

I don't need anyone to "buy" it. It is reality. Immigrants may not exactly the same as they were a hundred years ago but what is? The main points are the same. They are people who coming from desperate impoverished situations looking for a better life In America.

Americans by a large majority want the US borders controlled, no amnesty, and illegals sent packing and what Obama has done is shown Americans just what he thinks of the law, America and the US Constitution.
His high and mighty azz is gone back to ChiCongo come November. Democrat Politicians are running away from him like the plague.
What he has done when it comes to illegal aliens is nothing more than treason and a outright violation of the US Constitution and his oath of office.
Vote this piece of sh*t out or impeach him, i really don't care which.

I actually did, in two papers and on line. Did you? Did you note that Obama and his Homeland Security shill have effectively open wide the border between AZ and Mexico? The supreme court said that AZ could not implement the Fed. Law but could still request, if they had reasonable cause to ask, for proof of legality. BUT to be certain of the fact AZ needed access to the Fed. data base that they have been using, that other states use, to determine the status of a suspect. THAT has been placed off limit for AZ by the Fed. Gov. so, in effect, AZ may not enforce the law and the Gov. will not enforce it in AZ either. Welcome to America, the best and safest place to cross the border is anywhere in AZ. They are not allowed to arrest you and the Fed. Gov. WILL NOT, at least not in AZ. Man, with this little man wants to get even for some perceived slight, he gets even with a vengence. He's a little man in a BIG office who has now violated that very oath of office. It wasn't to just enforce some of the laws but to enforce ALL of the laws.
I sure did and that is a federal policy and thats why they weren't allowed and still aren't allowed to do so. They have send a report and await a call from them.

NO ONE argues that or wants to deny them that chance. What we DO WANT is for them to do it LEGALLY! Why is that so difficult for you ANTI-American brain dead lemming liberals to comprehend?

To use a metaphor, the DNC hands an ice cream cone to each vote as long as they stay in their egg carton seat. If they speak to each other without supervision, they will be punished. Arizona is an example of how the denial of US Constitutional protection and then vilification should make it the magnet of illegals and next to fall.

"Skippy" is name calling? ROFLMAO! My god you are a sensitive little girl. Do you cry when the other little boys pull on your pigtails too? "Waaa Waaa that mean Topix poster called me Skippy. Waaa Waaa"

If you are so offended by Skippy, which I happen to call most everyone, then Topix is probably not the place for you, that or you should grow up and grow a pair wimp.

What do you expect? These Democrats are desperate. They know there is nothing the President can do at this late date to save his presidency. They don't want a Republican President, House, and Senate, but they did nothing to make the Democrats act on anything for over 3 years. Now it is too late. Now they have to sulk, and sit on the sofa, and look to 2016.

Obama's choice to delude the value of our citizenship and side with foreigners is not the fault of the invaders.

WE elected Obama. We own the disgrace. We simply didn't measure up to previous generations of Americans and must accept every tragic out come that results from our unprecedently political ignorance.
