don joe, lets go along with your story for a second, and lets say that you are correct, GE pays no taxes...ok hold that thought....now, since GE employs maybe several hundred thousands of people, and pays them nicely, and those hunreds of thousands of people do pay income taxes....is that good or bad? In other word GE pays none, but their hundreds of thousands of people do, is that still money in the IRS treasury?

you should thank them for paying most of your share while getting the exact same amount of government you get, if not less.
correct, they pay more, but get less...they dont qualify for the set asides that poor people do....poor pay little taxes but get lots of stuff, and the rich pay all the taxes, and dont qualify for the freebies.

this should be good! should i make popcorn for this fiction?
you can hire all the lobbyists you want?
you can get into the grass roots level at no cost at all and pick the politicians that the wealthy write big checks to campaign with. who has the most influence there?
if you don't have more than media soundbytes to parrot, you are wasting my, and everyone else's time here...
How is my money stolen? Lots of ways. However they are not easy bumper sticker slogans. For example, Reagan made it clear that the laws against hiring illegals would not be enforced. That flooded the labor pool with millions of illegals. Perhaps you have heard of the law of supply and demand. When the supply goes up, the price goes down. So of course the price for wages and benefits went down.

Add that lobbyists have rewritten the laws so that when corporations want to move to even cheaper foreign labor, the government pays them to make that move. Again, supply and demand. They flooded supply, and then reduced demand. Wages fell again.

Then they got rid of all trade barriers protecting American workers. For example, I had a friend who owned his own metal working shop. He had a couple of employees and they made precision prototypes for large corporations. He went to the grocery store and observed some cooking pots for sale. He examined the materials and workmanship and found both to be good. He saw the "made in China" sticker on the bottom. He noticed the retail price was less than it would cost him for the raw materials. That means that if he didn't pay any taxes and his workers worked for free, his electricity was free; there were no shipping charges, his building was free; There was no required investment in equipment; he still could not compete. The reason is currency manipulation by China. The US does worse than nothing to stop the destruction of jobs in America. They are actively pursuing the loss of jobs, because of rich people owning government. Instead of paying what a job is worth, they pay much much less after having changed the laws to keep all the fruit of the labor of those who work.

Everyone I know makes less than they did in 2000. The company I work for has never given anyone a raise in 15 years.

Ok, want another example, look at ObamaCare, or Romney care or the Heritage foundation system for transferring wealth from workers to rich insurance company CEOs.

Perhaps you should look at what is going on around you instead of just believing the right wing fanatics who attempt to justify that the rich should get your money cause they are better than you. What is fun to watch is that you believe them.

You want to get someone elected? First get rid of Diebold, ES&S and Sequoia ballot stuffing boxes. Then overhaul the media so that your candidate can actually get the word out and hold those who lie about your candidate accountable. Then change those on the USSC will happily shred the constitution to throw out our elections and appoint the guy they want.

When you get all that done let me know.

LOL, in your fantasy made up world where the moon is made of green cheese, you invite me to live in your dysfunctional fantasy world. You are talking about giving all our money to a few rich guys, and I question it, thus apparently I am the enemy. I suppose the fact that more than 100% of the growth of our nation since 1980 has all gone to the wealthy doesn't mean they don't need more, in your fantasy world. It's amazing that you really think that Mike's lawn service is so rich.

It takes money to make money. If you have lots of money it is easy to make more. If you don't, then it is almost impossible. I say almost, because some people actually do win the lottery.

No it does not take money to make money, that is what you losers say to explain why you are a failure.

again, how are the rich stealing your money. you have to make the money first for someone to steal it...

try to start from there...what money have you made that the wealthy have stolen from you?

Mythology of the far Right, not supported by reality. If we only judge by what people contribute, the wealthy would be judged poorly as well.

What do YOU contribute other than hatred and division?

I agree! Get rid of Diebold and Sequoia cyber ballot stuffers. They are an expensive way to go. They are leased for three years at around $1500 each per year. Read about the Princeton U IT professor who hacked one in eleven minutes when they were declared "Unhackable"

And they are owned and controlled by extreme right wing criminals. They get to decide who wins each election, not the public. I suspect the only reason they put Obama in office was to blame him for the disastrous economy that was left to him. If Obama was really a liberal, instead of a right wing nut, they never would have allowed him in office. Even if he had used his own fraud on the machines, the whacked out USSC would simply have voided the election and installed their guy.

In your opinion bubba, nothing more. Even conservative "Rasmussen" has Obama ahead in the polls son - todays report;

"Monday, April 22, 2013

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) now disapprove."

Of course Romney was right. You'd have to be an idiot or the MSM to make minimizing ones taxes something bad. This was a prime example of how our media influences our elections. They take a normal thing like taking advantage of tax law to maximize your return and, in Romney's case, they erroneously equate it with greed and not paying his fair share. Our corrupt corporate media has far too much influence on our elections.

don't forget 47% are in the tank for him, so to get to your magic number of 51%, all he has to do is impress a few ponytailed ex hippies, soccer moms, greenies, warmers, abortionists, terrorists, racist preachers, college professors, kids too young to remember carter, gays, blacks, and star bucks drinkers. from 47 to 51, not that hard....with real people who work and pay taxes, he's not that good.
