If obama is re-elected, it will finally show the prevailing moral climate that exists in this country.Which at this point is pitiful.

How can American's not be upset, by Romney/Ryan going through their whole convention, and not thanking or even mentioning our brave troops, serving in Afghanistan...A WAR STARTED BY A REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION.....

There you go again Mykro, blaming Bush again. And now you've interjected the tea party without any knowledge of what they stand for. Could it be that you are really a welfare dude that is depending on Obama for your daily bread ? No wonder you cry for more and more and more and more. Solution for happiness and longevity.... get a job and stick with it.

It's 8.1 percent.

Unemployment has been counted the same way for forty years.

Apples to apples.

PS: The USA hasn't recovered from BUSH's recessions and the cost of his two wars and the impact of giving millionaires like Romney tax breaks.

It would recover faster if the US Congress worked on the problem instead of passing the same bill 39 times knowing it would be rejected in the Senate.

I say let's draw a line on exactly what was Bush's fault- let's point to the two wars, and the recession, and the unemployment which was caused by his bad fiscal policies of putting the costs on the nation's credit card.

Actually, it wasn't Shrub's fault.

Babs should have aborted that POS when she has the chance. Someone should handed her a wire hanger and be done with it.

The world would be a much better place today had she done so.

Because we have never had a bill that is quit as simple as the media states it as. A bill designed to get our vets jobs is not all the bill would do. Try doing a little research and see just what was voted against instead of just assuming a simple bill for one thing only was all it was. Alot of bills sound good on their face, but unfortunately our congress just doesn't allow it to be just that simple. They always have to muck it up by throwing in crap they want that when you vote for the good thing like jobs for vets you are also voting for stuff that isn't so good for the country.

There's been an increase in Wealth in America greater than at any time in our history over the last year alone. What are you reading? You must not have a 401K, or any interest in equity accounts. There's no way if you had any money riding on American businesses you could come to such an absurd conclusion after reviewing the growth in your accounts since Obama has been President.
You have to ask yourself how is it you're on the outside looking in, and complaining missing this run.
<quoted text>
Exactly. America became a failed state at the end of Bush's term. It was over then. There is no way to make the U.S. come back because oil is now over $100 a barrel, so the model of continual growth has ended. It can't be done on expensive oil. There's too many humans, so that's another reason the old model of capitalism based on constant growth can no longer be done. Add in global warming, we seriously can no longer grow. The world has reached it's growth limits all the way around. And, oil is actually running out after we plopped 7 billion people on the planet and after us using oil created global warming. So the future is more about localization, the end of globalization and about population reduction, the end of the American dream, the end of growth, the end of traditional capitalism and the end of the necessity of the nuclear family. The model for the future is brand new, we have never done it before.
