It's very clear what happened: He hasn't been challenged on anything for the past four years. The press has licked his boots and told him he's brilliant. Without a teleprompter, he really is an empty suit.

There are still tickets available, they'll have to be creative to keep the country music fans who are evangelical there to listen to the cultist and the papist.

I wonder why you Republican posters on here aren't wondering how much this get together is going to cost the taxpayers. Obama comes to Charlottesville "wasting tax money"!!! Do you have any idea how many State Police Officers will be in the area. Overtime! Deputies? Overtme? Traffic issues? Overtime? Like Obama's visit I have to ask...who's going to reimburse Virginia's tax payers for this waste of tax payer's money?

Obama su*ked last nite, no question. Romney kicked his btt.
The debate didn't change my mind about the facts however. Romney was short on crucial details and long on deception.

I still didn't hear anything that would change my mind from Gary Johnson. It is interesting that he waited until 5 weeks to change his position from raising taxes and increased spending and not adding to the deficit until now? I don't trust that, he has too much history of flipping

On Air Force One when he's on a re-election junket. Then there's Obama's history of stiffing local governments for the tab. It's as if he thinks merely seeing the Defender of the Prophet is enough compensation.

The funds for this are coming from Romneys campaign funds, not your taxes. Rest assured, the Romney campaign will make good on any bills presented by this celebration. Unlike Obama, Romney signs the front of checks.

Barry was clearly stumped last night. He is so arrogant that he assumed he did not have to prepare. In the end, he could not prepare as all Romney had to do was mention the failures of the past four years. Barry was called out on his lies and spin, so he had to stick to facts. Michelle and Barry practically ran off stage after the debate -- she was obviously upset. Wah. It was awesome.

I cannot wait for October 11th when Ryan and Biden have their debate. That will be hilarious.

Prediction -- look for a new onslaught of attack ads on TV from Obummer. They cannot run a clean campaign as they have nothing good to offer. I believe nothing that comes out of his big toothy mouth.

You are disillusioned. Did you not listed to the debate last night? I will give the fact that Obama was out performed. I believe it is Romney that isn't running a clean campaign. Romney has been running the same thing during his campaign, then during the debate it became "that isn't my plan". We will have new comparisons showing what Romney has said on the campaign trail versus what he said during the debate. How many flip flops will come out of it?

I would have expected NBC29 to have a lead story on the debate, but there is nothing. Why is that? The President failing to prepare for this is inexcusable, but not surprising. He expects America to accept his poor leadership, and elect him again in spite of it. I don't think so. I've said it for the last 4 years; he came to the game too soon, with not enough experience, and then sat on his laurels for too long. Our country can't afford 4 more years of his type of "leadership".
BTW, there is a good reason why Obamacare doesn't "really" go into effect until next year...it can't be touted as a true campaign issue yet. No one in the Obama campaign can/will answer the question of : "Why did the president and congress make themselves exempt from the provisions of Obamacare?" If it is good enough for us lowly Americans, why isn't it good enough for him and the congress?

I am glad this election is finally over. Mitt sealed the deal right now. What the heck are we even doing having an election when clearly, Romney is a landslide. Save the taxpayers money and hand him the keys now and send the Obama's packing.

They are having a ventriloquist's dummy made up in Joe's likeness for the debate so they can control what comes out of his mouth. The Dummy's foot will be placed in its mouth throughout the debate so we will recognize him as Biden.

So, it should have been implemented immediately? So businesses and insurance companies wouldn't have time to prepare and become compliant?
