Family guy cannot come up with new ideas, so they keep stealing movie story lines.(First "Star Wars", now some other movie.)
The Simpsons did the same, and even pretended that it was a movie, to rip off movie go-ers. They want your money, without doing creative work. If they wanted money, they (Matt Groening)could have continued to produce "Futurama" series.
I agree with post #20, that Hank Hill has the only real ethics and values, and that AMERICANS DESPERATELY NEED TO SEE. Americans need to WORK TO BE LIKE HANK HILL!! He is a ROLE MODEL, while still being entertaining!

hank hill is one, no, hank hill is the most upstanding american citizen in this country.
hank's got standards, ethics, pride. he is the epicenter of what all americans should admire to be like. a family man first and he loves propane. not one ill speck in his body. every show that was aired has a message to tell the difference in right vs. wrong. hank always does the right thing. his love for bobby show the diversity that we face each day, whether we choose the right choice is up to us. his neighbor Kon is always trying to throw mud in hanks face but still he did the right thing. his close friendship to dale shows us that he is flexible and patient. never once did hank tell dale about dales wife infidelity and his illegitimate child.
if hank ever faultered he has the best backup any man could ever want, peggy is the rock of gilbralter.
hank has values that we wont find in ourselves but strive to be.
hank got his start from those two hell'ens, beavis and buthead...he taught them a leasson or two before he got his own show.
always a story with a positive message.
we will miss sue ellen, boomhower and the rest of the many fine characters. we will not find anywhere else in the real world or t.v.
values that are to this standard.
While Hank certainly has integrity and a good work ethic, he's also a bigoted, incurious, anti-education, woman-hating warmonger.

Now where will I hear propane jokes and propane related accessory jokes?
I hear they are replacing it with an new show about a family from Chicago where the Dad has big purple lips and the wife is a militant bitch. It's called, "Who Wants to be a Socialist Dick?"
hahahahahaha This made me laugh out loud....thanks.

We've lost Studs Terkel and now Hank Hill.
What a terrible weekend.
You said it! I adored King of the Hill. Great voices, characterizations and stories. An absolute classic. And tired old bullshit like The Simpletons and Family Goy continue. There's no accounting for taste.

Kind of the Hill was just too good a show. But it has been in re-runs on a local indy channel here.

Studs? A downer having him pass away. I was astonished at his photo. I refuse have him age! I will always think of him as about 60 years old. He played the heavy city slicker in Ma Perkins.

Working was my favorite book by him.

Stud's voice was over 6 ft tall.

At least the Simpsons is funny. King of the Hill is the worst animated series in history. It's not funny at all, and it ruins Fox's Sunday comedy block. They should've killed the show a long time ago.

It's a great show and will continue in re-runs. It might even be out on DVD.

The other great show that I do have DVDs on is Murder, She Wrote. Even though the logic of who done-its was quite convoluted, I especially liked the show using older actors and the various locations.

I don't live in San Antonio, my ISP does. And I have been to Niagra Falls. Your whole area smells like Canada. Socialism is rancid!

King of the Hill kicks ass - my fiance and I have every series on dvd and often watch it on our dvd player in the car on drives coz it's always funny.

Really disappointed to hear about this, but let's just pray they don't do a bloody movie on it!!
