Our rights are no more dependent on what the jews experienced in the holocaust than your are, idiot.

I'm going to enjoy the weeping and gnashing of teeth when SSM becomes the country-wide standard and all you will have left is your fear and frustration.

Uh, no they don't. Homosexuals engage in sexual acts with members of their same gender. Heterosexuals don't.
Are you really so stupid you don't know the difference?
<quoted text>
No. I don't engage in deviant, perverted homosexual behavior.
<quoted text>
Sure, you can ignore me. But what you can't ignore are the facts and reality that I put forth. And that's really what pisses you off.
<quoted text>
Yep, and that's precisely why society rejects you. You don't care about others around you, you're extremely selfish. You expect society to bend over backwards to accommodate you. Guess what, it ain't going to happen.
Maybe it's time you put on your big girl panties and stopped whining like a little bitch. You chose the homosexual lifestyle. You chose society's disdain that comes with it. It's time for you to stop being a crybaby.

We aren't taking over anything; hundreds of thousands of homosexuals went to the camps. UNLIKE other groups, we weren't released when the camps were liberated; we were sent to prisons. That you belittle that fact shows you to be the fascist that you are.

What "actual history" are you referring to? And when did heteros stop committing atrocities to sate their lusts?
Donate2NOM wrote:
<quoted text>Interesting how the rich, pampered, and pandered to homosexuals here in America have appropriated (stolen) the history and suffering of another people as their own, the Jews of Hitler's Europe. Now the Holocaust 'belongs' to the homosexuals to exploit for political gain, just as the homosexuals have 'borrowed' the history and suffering of black people to use for similar ends.
Of course they must masquerade as the sympathetic figures from the past because the actual history of homosexuals reads like a transcript of the Jerry Sandusky trial.

In other days saying the earth was round got one into trouble with the church. Later saying the sun is the center of the universe, and not the earth was heresy. In the earlier part of the 20th century, getting pregnant out of wedlock was a TERRIBLE stigma and looked at with shame and humiliation. now this newest target of the holy, the gays NOT being despised and trivialized is the latest church conservatism fun time which in 50 years the general public will scratch that's so accepted today!"

The church is always a good 30 years behind society and its norms. The comic part is that the church ALWAYS gives in and adapts, quietly, but they do eventually.

I think your post applies mostly to the Roman Catholic Church, and not ALL churches.

oh, knock it off, you aren't that dumb, are you? If you can sit there and claim that many churches, Catholic and protestant, do NOT despise gay people, then you are out of control.

And PLEASE do NOT bore us and insult us and crow about how accepting YOUR little store front church is, good for you if it is, many many more are NOT so accepting and you know it. Get with the program.

Conservatives don't care what is taught in private schools, however public schools are a different story. Conservatives believe the public schools should not be indoctrinating students with social values nor trying to fix society's problems, but rather should focus on teaching the core subjects of language, mathematics, science and history. You know, those subjects where we continue to fall further and further behind the rest of the world because we spend our time teaching little Johnny how to put condoms on bananas.
Schools are trying to create tolerance to make safe learning environments.
But that's not the purpose of the public schools. If you want to send your kid to a private school where they are taught that, fine with me. However, it's wrong to force kids to attend a public school and then force them to accept and condone behavior that has ever been rejected as deviant and perverted.

A safe school environment is vital to learning. Neither children nor teachers have a right to discriminate against or bully those who are different. Tolerance is part of good citizenship. Kids aren't being taught to become gay (which is impossible); they are being taught that, within the boundaries of school, it's none of their business and to leave other kids alone.

The biggest problem with education is that parents are slack-jawed morons who don't get involved in educating their kids, especially in the time before they go to school. Between that and a total lack of respect for authority, parents aren't doing their jobs. Schools are teaching things you dislike because parents aren't preparing their kids for life--and that includes sex education. If johnny putting a condom on a banana keeps him from making a johnny jr before he graduates high school, it is entirely appropriate to teach him that.

Not all society views gay sex as deviant and perverted--and many of those people have kids or relatives in school. You want the schools to promote hate and discrimination; that is not happening. You are free to send your kids to schools that agree with YOUR prejudices, but those in public schools are not there to be programmed to hate.

A while back there was an anti-bully campaign at my kids school. Parents were invited to attend the event in the gumnasium, and kids were taught how it's wrong to harass other students, report hassassment they see to teachers, etc.
Anyhoo, the Chick-Fil-A mascot (some guy dressed in a cow costume holding a 'Eat Mor Chikin' sign) was also there passing out coupons for free chicken sandwhiches and corporate swag. So dispite how this one executive thinks, the company is also doing some good things too.

Their marketing shtick is convincing people to eat chicken instead of beef (they're competing with the burger chains). So, their mascot is a cow holding a crudely written sign saying "Eat Mor Chikin", as if the cows are promoting Chick-Fil-A.
