How Fox News Is Really Destroying the Republican Party

There are 15 comments on the The Atlantic story from Oct 21, 2011, titled How Fox News Is Really Destroying the Republican Party. In it, The Atlantic reports that:

Would more House Republicans rather have John Boehner's job or Sean Hannity's? How many Republican presidential candidates would rather be in a Fox News studio than the White House? The wave of stunt candidates so far -- Donald Trump, Herman Cain -- and those who have opted out of the race to keep their TV gigs -- Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin -- ... (more)

The worst thing FOX has done to the Republican Party (and to the country) is take Governor Huckabee off the campaign trail and into their studios. He is far too gifted to remain "just another tv pundit" on FOX but, with those fat paychecks and a "celebrity status" I guess it was just too tempting to give up! The big losers here...the American people!!!

Huckabee was the worst. He was groveling for a job. Get real.

Governor Huckabee goveling for a job??? Hardly...he is a New York Times best-selling author, has Paul Harvey's old radio spot, the number one rated TV show on FOX weekends, makes tons of money giving speeches, not to mention his talent as a bass guitarist. On second thought, maybe he IS too talented for the prsidency....he is the most gifted and talented politican the Republican Pary has. The problem is that FOX has made it more inviting for our best to go there than it is to run for office.

Get a clue. Every political fart becomes an instant best-seller anymore because it gets promoted on their channels and a nation of imbeciles swoon and salivate and try to clear out the shelves. Of course, that's not until the publishers first heighten artificial demand by snapping up a few thousand books off of the shelves first.

Come to think of it, after reading your delightful post, you are either Huckabee himself OR you're the political idolater of the week! Congratulations!

By the way, do you drop to your knees and suck up to Huckabee when you see him on TV?

If you kept up with politics at all you would KNOW that Governor Huckabee is the ONLY Republican who has ever beaten Obama in any polls....whether you like him or not, he WAS our best shot at beating Obama....9398

Huckabee is another loser that just serves to remind us of the folksy Jim Nabors. If you kept up with the news, you might have been one of the few who sent flowers to the families of the four slain Seattle police officers who died at the hands of a killer who was granted clemency by then-Governor Huckabee as his sentence in Arkansas was commuted over objections of Arkansas prosecutors.

I'll vote for Huckabee when those slain police officers can do the same. I won't even further embarrass you with the details of the rapist Huckabee also pardoned only to commit another rape.

Can you say "Willie Horton?" Huckabee couldn't win a freak show while bending over and smiling while using his hands to spread the cheeks of his butt wide open.

For those who want to know more about George Bush, crack cocaine kingpin, I suggest the following:

* Start with Chapter XVIII for the role of Bush as kingpin of Iran-contra.

* Then proceed to Chapter XX for the shocking truth about Bush's much-touted "war on drugs," including how Bush hobnobbed with Don Aronow of the Meyer Lansky organized crime and narcotics syndicate.

* To understand the reasons why Bush was and is so fanatically devoted to genocide against African-Americans and poor Americans in Chapter X, "Rubbers Goes to Congress," which details how Bush brought neo-Nazi racist theoretician William Shockly to address members of Congress on the need to make eugenics and population control the keystone of US government policy.

* See Chapter XI for Bush's support of genocide in Bengladesh and Vietnam when he was Henry Kissinger's Ambassador to the United Nations. See Chapter XIV for Bush's role in the installation of Cambodia's Pol Pot, one of the greatest genocidalists in modern history. See Chapter XXIV for Bush's genocidal Gulf war, which has killed more than a million among Iraqis and other Arabs.

* Finally, to understand genocide as the deepest tradition of the Bush family, see Chapter II for the story on how Prescott Bush, father of the later president, helped finance the seizure of power in Germany by Adolf Hitler.

Faux "news" was stated as GOPTV, a propaganda channel thought up in Nixon's WH. It is based on Goebbels, the propaganda head of Nazi Germany.

The Atlantic's concern for the future of the Republican Party would be truly touching if it were the slightest bit plausible.
