what incenses me about latinos is that they have abandoned thier responsibility to thier own countries they come to u.s and march in our streets but they won't fight for justice in their home countries even if we were to legalize every immigrant in america it would not put a dent in illegal immigration because thier home countries are hell holes so they come here to take what is not theres to have what they are not entitled too if you cant stand up at home how can you stand here and from my experience they do not want to assimalate they will speak spanish right in front of your face and talk about you ! first fight for whatis your birth right in your home countries first stand against that racist presidente calderon who at this very moment is committing genocide against the indians of chiapas thier people live in shacks while the rich live in opulent palaces and they wont protest that but come here and demand our social benifits its dispicable

The illegals pouring into our country to escape the injustice and corruption in their own nations will never confront those ills at home as long as the U.S. provides them a convenient refuge.
There should be no Amnesty whatsoever for the illegals already here. It's simple. Don't finance them. Don't feed them. They'll go home!
Cut off all benefits. Stop the freebies. They'll leave! It's called "SELF DEPORTATION."
The reason it's so difficult is due to lack of consistency in enforcement.
While one city or state is cracking down and enforcing immigration laws, another is advocating and providing more benefits to illegals.

14 GOOD REASONS TO DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS
(websites provided for verification)

Hope these 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read by the majority of Americans. Then they will have something to yell at their U.S. Congress members.

.$11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year. http://tinyurl.com/zob77
.$2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.h ...
.$2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.h ...
.$12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/0 ...
.$17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/0 ...
.$3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/0 ...
. 30% of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/06 04/01/ldt.01.html
.$90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ld ...
.$200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/0 ...
. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the United States. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/1 ...
. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine and marijuana, crossed into the U. S. from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report: http://tinyurl.com/t9sht
. The National Policy Institute "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period." http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/de ...
. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.http://www.rense.com/ge neral75/niht.htm

So if deporting them costs between $206 and $230 BILLION DOLLARS, Start getting rid of them. We'll be ahead after the 1st year!!!

First of all I just want to state that I am by no means racist and embrace the diversity of the different cultures in America. However, I am completely against illegal immigration especially when it is happening at such a massive rate and with such negative consequences. I have read most of the posts by El Chapin and others and though I agree with some of the things he says I think John Valle made a very strong point. While it is true that we do need some illegal labour it is clear that the number we do need has been more than exceeded. The number of illegal workers is now at the point where they are competing and undercutting the legal citizens of America and that is exactly what is creating the problems and resentment. Most people claim that americans don´t want to do those jobs but who does any unpleasant job because they like it? Any person would take that job in a heartbeat if the pay was rewarding. The fact is that companies are so greedy to get more dollars into their pockets by hiring cheap labour that they are willing to screw over legal citizens. It is true that most agricultural products and housing would be much more expensive but with the wage increases, once the illegals are out and employers are forced to pay better wages, people could afford them. It certainly would be a lot cheaper for the american taxpayers to pay a little more for lettuce than seeing their hard earned money going to social services aiding illegal immigrants.El Chapin stated that they would assimilate into the american culture and that is very true, but the problem is that the illegal population is growing at such a rate that there is absolutely no time or need for it.With the abundance of spanish speakers everywhere and more and more illegals coming into the country everyday people just wouldn´t bother leaving their language or culture behind. The crime rate has dramatically risen due to all the gang affiliation and though I am sure that most illegals try to abide by the rules many don´t and it just creates more foreign criminals to deal with. The american people are bieng exposed to diseases which nobody is aware of since there is no way to verify who has anything dangerous or not. The illegal birth rate is ridiculous and creates just another drain on the social service system. It is clear that they are causing and already have suceeded in diving the american nation. If I see any more racist latin organizations or people burning the american flag I will scream. Those people shold be ashamed of themselves for not embracing and doing anything more than honouring the country which has been nothing but generous to them. The US afer all has no obligation whatsoever to help anyone who is not a legal citizen and after all the negative impact bieng caused by illegal immigration they still continue to do so. The problem needs to be tackled from the inside out. Cutting off any aid to illegal immigrants. No jobs, no social services, no anchor babies, no illegals. Stop giving them reasons to cross your border.

So much hate, fear, and ignorance. First, you speak about all Latinos, when I think you meant to say 'undocumented migrants'. Your fear is evident. Don't flatter yourself, they're not talking about you when they speak Spanish. Unless you've given them a reason, which, by looking at your writing, is quite possible.

When I read your IP address, I thought that you might be able to offer a new point of view on this issue. However, it appears you just repeated the same Lou Dobbs rhetoric that is completely inaccurate and fabricated. I was really disappointed.
First, no, we don't need 'illegal labor' in this country. We need legal workers who are able and willing to do low-skilled jobs at a low rate of pay. While the auto industry's jobs are not low-skilled, they are a good example. American workers cannot expect to be paid more and more and more if they are going to compete with global companies whose workers are paid much less. They threaten to bankrupt their own companies, if not drive production out of the country. Likewise, farmers will not pay $20.00 an hour for lettuce pickers, they will move production to where they can get people to do it for $10.00. And they're already beginning to do so.
Yes, people want to learn English. They can't be expected to do so overnight. And until they do, there are many businesses who make money catering to their language and culture. That's the American way.
Your other assumptions are wrong. No, the crime rate is not rising. Crime has been decreasing over the last few decades. And if gang crime is up, let's not blame that on the undocumented if there is no proof that they are members of gangs more than any other group.
No, they don't have diseases. That's another scare tactic, and it's very offensive. If you've read my posts, you know I have dealt with the immigrant community for years and years. I've never known one person who has used social services or not paid a hospital or doctor bill.
Finally, let me say this. When you see someone protesting or burning a flag, don't be angry. Be happy that we have that right. And don't assume, because of the side of the issue they're on or the color of their skin, that you know their legal status. It just makes your first sentence look like a lie.

You may have been labeling someone to discount their point, yet, rather than ask for more information to find out if they were truly being naive, you just threw labels at them, which seemed quite biased.
There is a difference. Talking down to someone is different than noting that one of their views is naive.

The most important reason we should close our boarders is we have a "biological disease war going on in the Us, You do not hear about this on the news, because I guess the media does not want to start a panic.
