Breaking News

The Des Moines Register confirms that Rick Santorum probably won the Iowa Caucuses, with Mitt Romney coming in second:

THE RESULTS: Santorum finished ahead by 34 votes

MISSING DATA: 8 precincts’ numbers will never be certified

PARTY VERDICT: GOP official says, "It’s a split decision"

Why should you care? Well, if Santorum had been declared Iowa's winner in the first place, he would have gotten even more of a bounce, more positive media attention, and might have more of a shot at the presidential nomination as of today.

Who wants a man that claims we should only fight a war after it's declared........and then votes for an undeclared war in Iraq.

Character assassination is all the liberals have. Newt’s second wife wants bucks and her 15 seconds of fame. Nothing new here folks, same as Clinton, Gore, Dodd and Weiner and all three Kennedy's.

Probably won? They don't know?
I thought Republicans were real sticklers for
getting it right when it comes to voting and they can't seem to actually figure out who won their own primaries.

Do as we say, not as we do?

I guess those restrictive voting laws the repub are pushing in States might actually be needed for repub primaries.

PS...Nothing was done to prevent voting fraud in Iowa repub caucasus.

PS...No recount is allowed in Iowa repub caucasus. Yet they can't get the count right. And they missed deadlines to do so.

So your defense of your claims to be "morally superior" to dems is "Well, you dems cheated on wives also"?

Ok, thanks. Meanwhile, enjoy your fantasy claims of being morally superior.

Soo tell us of the impact of ACORN on our national elections again?

Sorry, I keep forgetting the point you rightwingnuts are trying to prove after 4 years of saying "ACORN" but not saying anything else.

Help us understand the correlation between saying "ACORN" and how this allowed Obama to beat McCain/Palin in a landslide.

So when Romney won by what was supposed to be 8 votes it was a big win for Romney. Now that Santorum has won Iowa by 34 votes Romney wants to call it a tie. Sorry Santorum won Iowa, and 34 votes, not a measley 8. If Ginrich wins S C, and he is ahead today, he will get the nomination no matter what. Who ever has the Republican nomination will be President

Maybe the USSC should step in and tell Iowa who they have to pick.

Newt can't keep it zipped, not even news.

But it is hardly character assignation, it is character description.

So what. Clinton couldn't keep it zipped, and he was a great President. We aren't looking for a National Pope. We want a president that will stay in the office long enough to get some work done. I don't care how he spends h is leisure time, and I damn sure wouldn't look to a bitter old ex wife for a reference for the Pres. If anything Marianne just made it easier to vote for Newt.
