"Towards the end of the film, it’s clear to see what fame has done to this small-town woman. The belief that she, alone, saved a McCain campaign that was drowning, produces a level of arrogance unseen in modern day politics.

"Arrogance and ego is the only way to explain why a vice presidential candidate would demand a concession speech.

Nicolle Wallace (played by Sarah Paulson) even said the film was “true enough to make me squirm.”
