We need to balance our trade deficit and budget defict. That's what I'm mainly focused on.

But since most Libertarians are former
Republicans, I wonder how they would have the stomach to pull out of Iraq. Pulling out of Iraq is the only way the US could cut the size of its military in order to cut the size of the Federal government.

Yet, that is precisely what the Libertarian Party would do -- pull out of Iraq.

Who really care that they picked Bob Barr. He is useless and will spend money just to spin his wheels.

I'm not convinced that Barr is a Libertarian. I think he's a former Republican desperate to get on any ticket. This is disappointing.

No member of the Republican Party would vote for this guy who is associated with ther ACLU. Check his baggage and see what is underneath his rumpled suits. He reminds me of the useless brother in law on the old Edgar Kennedy one reelers in the late 30s and early 40s. Why would anyone waste a vote on this guy. The only votes he will get are the Obam and Edwards votes. Even Hillary people are too smart to vote for this guy.

All this "PARTY" is trying to do is UNDERMIND the Republican Party, so Obama will be SURE TO WIN.
Then we can A-L-L live in a SOCIALIST (i.e. Communist) country where "everyone" has the "Same" amount of everything..........EXCEPT, OF COURSE, for the E-L-I-T-E-S and the BETTER THAN THOU'S..........we ALL know who "they" are don't we??????????

Why fault him for his honesty look at all the favors Bush did for the Saudis and all he gets from them is a great big F YOU IN RETURN.

So since the Republicans don't have a Republican nominee, the Libertarians nominated one?

Whatever.

Step aside, Mr. Barr. You were a good conservative for many years, and I liked your work in trying to oust Slick Willy.....but you're going to ruin this thing in November for the good guys. McCain is running slightly ahead of Barack Hussein Obama even with that "R" next to his name.....don't get in the way.

Sorry, but I disagree. While I feel that Mr. Barr hasn't shed all of his Republican politics, he is a NAME, and the LP needs a name to get in front of the people.
Are there any Libertarian movie or music stars? I'd love to see one of them voicing open support for the cause.
