DK is an ego maniac. He appeals to the 1% of the population that think Stalin was on the right track if you can overlook the millions he killed. Congrats, comrade..

I was a resident of Cleveland, Ohio during the mayoral administration of Dennis Kucinich. I remember how the former Mayor Kucinich engaged in the most hateful and vindicative campaign against the Chief City Commissioner to the detriment of city residents. I watched as he ignored crtical issues facing Cleveland in order to rage his campaign against former Commissioner Forbes. As a result of Kucinich's incompetence, the city of Cleveland fell into default and Cleveland became known as "the mistake by the lake." No, the lack of a pretty TV face is NOT what defeated Kucinich's presidency campaign, it was his record.

Kucinich is in for a fight just to keep his seat in the House. He spent so much time running for president he forgot about his own district. I hope we have seen the last of this bafoon.

Skipping the "pretty face" argument,
I was appalled the TV networks were allowed to be the "first primary."

Agree or not with Kuchinch, why were two networks allowed to ban him while he was still getting Federal campaign matching funds? The government still saw him as a viable candidate. He was not "electable" according to the networks. How are we to see alternative views to the "Chosen" if the citizens are not allowed to see all contenders on equal footing.
So he didn't look electable. His views should have been heard. Equal time provisions for the networks should apply to their on-line and cable counterparts.

Kucinich represented the fringe kooks on the left just as Paul represented the kooks of the Libertarian tree limb and maybe Huckabee represents the fringe kooks of the right, although Huckabee at least is dead on right about the Fair Tax. I don't think even if he won he'd have a chance of a snowball in Hell with the liberal Democrats in charge in Congress because the IRS gives them unlimited power over the people just as Social Security does. I'd vote for the candidate that made abolishment of the IRS and income tax as well as Social Security even if he looked like the "Alien".

Don't drink the Fair Tax Kool-Aid. It would have been Fair if it began in 1776. But now it is just another tax break for the wealthy.

Wait, why did you vote for Kucinich? He was out of the race at the time of the Florida Primary. Instead you could have helped fight for the principle you're speaking about, and voted for Sen. Gravel. Now instead of joining together, the votes for Kucinich and Gravel now hang seperately.
