Rejoice? Really? As a Hillary supporter I won't be rejoicing. How dare you try and speak for 17 million of us, the majority of democrats, who didn't choose Obama. We will be looking elsewhere in November. As for that "rallying around" the candidate stuff. That ain't going to be happening.

I guess November might not be shaping up to be such an exciting race after all. McCain hasn't impressed me and now the dirt on Obama has been coming out. Hillary is probably done.

Oh well, looks like we're screwed for another 4 years!

Agreed. None of the candidates inspire excitement into the hearts of voters.

The best the democrats could come up with was Hillary and Obama-what we can look forward to is 4 years of John McCain-as the last article stated-we are screwed !

The final "Big 3" are all finalists due to their success with the "Swift Vote" veterans.

You know who you are. You're the one who clamors for "change," any change, from the status quo. Regardless of the qualifications, maturity, or history of the candidates being paraded before you, you will be quick to cast your vote for no other reasons than succumbing to superficial rhetoric.

Some good candidates (and several bad ones; yes, you, Dennis) have fallen by the wayside in arriving at this point. Mostly due to the "Swift Votes" who failed to thoroughly investigate each candidate.

Too busy in our daily lives to spend the time to get it right. Struggling to keep our heads above water financially. How typical.

How sad.

Hmmm, I don't think McCain or Obama have dealt with the communists, but don't hold me to that. I jes' haven't read anythin' that says they did.

Hillary has for sure, jes' as Kerry and Gore did.

But I agree, we don't have any good choices for this election.

If Hillary doesn't get all of her votes from FL & MI counted today with all delegates, we fight on to the convention. The Democrats need the best candidate who can win in the fall, and that is Hillary. GO HILLARY !!!

Ya gotta feel sorry for Hill.

She was outfoxed by Obama, who played the delegate system and won.

Now she's confronted with Cold Hard Facts. In four years her face won't be nearly as marketable (in fact, it's gonna be downright scary), the half of the US electorate that hates her will still hate her and the other half, who has coasted on the romantic fiction of how great Bill Clinton was, will have moved on.

Buh-bye, Ms. Clinton. Go home and make cookies.

I'll tell you. We should ALL have our votes counted and have one Primary Election in May. Then the General Election in November. It should be by popular vote and throw out all those electoral, delegate and super delegate votes. We the People of America should be the ones voting for our PRESIDENT. The other stuff is all bull****.
We need our Country back, and our jobs. Period!

Hillary is delusional. The sooner she goes away, the better. She's a sociopathic cockroach.

Hillary Clinton is far more interested in personal success than in the success of the Nation as a whole.

McCain is unelectable.

Obama is our only hope at this point. He's by far the best choice of the 3 remaining.

My sentiments exactly, if this is the best we can do, we deserve what we get.

Just watched Howard Deans self aggrandizing and bloviating speech, kissing Al Gore’s rear end and throwing cheap shots at the current President, because it always generates a round of applause from the morally and mentally bankrupt group of Marxists who follow their comrades into their version of a proletariat paradise. Pathetic.

Hey Beacon:

"..The End is Near."

At least you got that part right.

P.S. Wait 'till you see who they trot-out as
super-candidate at the last minute (after Hillary
and Obama finish themselves off and McBush starts
talking to ashtrays....)
