I'm not sure why the media keeps treating Romney as if he is about to drop out of the race at any second. I've even seen some comments from the media that are quite snarky, similar to the way they are treating Ron Paul. I don't agree with Ron Paul at all, but I don't think it is the media's responsibility to tell American voters who is viable and who is not. We are supposed to be telling them that.
The fact is that Mitt has lead in number of delegates since the Wyoming contest, that would be the second contest. He came in a close second in both Iowa and New Hampshire, collecting delegates in both those races. He appeals to conservatives through his platform. He has been a businessman and when hard economic time come I certainly want someone who has been part of the economy making policy rather then someone who just has some theories. And Mitt has been 100% invested in the presidential race since day 1, showing up at all of his appointments. The media should be heralding him as the shoe in for the nomination. There is obviously something wrong with the media.
Gomitt, you have put your finger on some of the thorny issues of politics! We need to make the Internet the news source of choice for all political news. This is the tool that can finally wrest the iron-fisted power from the conglomerate media moguls and hand it to the common people! But, if we take that responsibility, we need to discipline ourselves to refrain from replicating their flaws. Let's stick to talking about issues, records, and relevant experience.
