XXX 3 Going Female?

Director and Producer Rob Cohen recently spoke to About.com regarding a possible third XXX flick.

xXx without Diesel was a feeble wheeze of an idea. Sam Jackson cannot convince me he is an action hero. All I see of him is a man who looked like he had too much drugs and anal sex and now possessed a stilted gait from the same. Various rappers cannot cut it either. It might be better to return the role to Diesel, if they plan on success with that as a franchise. Sooner would be preferable as he is aging fast, physically. This time maybe a meatier damsel in distress with more believable passion would be useful to the franchise movie.

Damsel in Distress? what world are U living in/ Diesel doesnt want that role - doesnt want to get pigeonholed. Remember stallone? What makes you think women cnat kick ass? Sigourney Weaver did in Aliens. Angelina Jolie did in M&MS. Rosario Dawson did in sincity. Yeah keep thinking in terms of male leads for action hero. I bet is was yo momma that rescued you from your messes so what makes you think thye have to be male heroes.

I'd never cared too much for female heroes myself. Not in action movies... then again I also hate damsels in distress...I'd love to see Vinny return for a xXx 3, but ONLY because I like to see Vin kick butt. I have no real need for a third movie, I think they should have stopped after the first, especially when they couldn't get Vin.

Lady, we're on the same page there about action heroes. I myself I'm digusted and wearied by the milk and cookies boys they keep pressing into that service. Let's have a manly, bottom-kicker like Diesel is what I say.

I've had a great idea in my head for the third movie a long while now..

I figured that Gibbons would hire the deceased Xander Cage's very 'tough chick' Sister/cousin
knowing her main drive would be to avenge her sibling/cousin's death...

It can be a very deep phycological movie because it would be about one woman dealing with a huge mixture of emotional problems...and about taking matters into your own hands blahdiblahdiblah...

I think a story like that would add depth to the role...If you think about it...Unless they acknowleged in the first movie that Xander Cage has an identical twin (which, by the way, they did'nt), they will have to do some Alien Resurrection type explaining as to why they bought Xander back when he was ment to have been blown up.(Case you never saw it...please refer to xXx: the extream version)

Its a shame they killed him off so soon because it would've been America and Gen X's version of James Bond...Hell a whole cool series with various different writers and gagets.

It's the movies. They can present him saying that 'twas not Cage that was killed. After all, the audience did not see Cage's face as the person killed. So simple.

No. A woman would not do. Diesel left too indelible a mark on the xXx franchise for that. They need to re-offer it to him with a decent script. This is better than 007. They could win points by making him chivalrous with some nice looking woman. This franchise is huge with promise.'Tis a pity they threw it over a cliff with Ice Creek in that second installment.

The market could do with a nice fantasy-action thriller along the lines of Conan, LoTR, as well. Hence, the press to roll out Mummy 3, Indiana Jones and a few others next year or this year.

What would really sell is another movie along the lines of Independence Day as Americans need psychological boost due to two failing wars and loss of clout internationally. That's why Flags of our fathers and Letters from iwo Jima did so well. Tht's why the fit xXx did so well also.

XxX3 hell yes, it's the amercian 007 guys! fricken hell all you losers are paying out XxX well you guys suck! XxX rules. For XxX they should go with The Rock all the way.

XxX 3 should star a naked girl for the whole movie. Fully naked, no cloths at all. paris hilton could play that roll real good......yep realy good...... no XxX 3 should star the one and only " THE ROCK" don't you think so. All the people that say Vin should come back for XxX 3 don't know what there fricken talking about. The first XxX sucked ass, the Second XxX was a breath of fresh air. Vin Diseal is the worst action for an action hero movie. He was ok in The Fast and The Furious and that's it. XxX is the amercian James Bond 007, no just some guy who can ride a fricken motor bike or some thing. XxX 3 should star the rock, that's what i think.

and yes they should bring him back in the third
just make him look like gibons in the first on and then fix him and send him out and if they do go to a girl make it where she is related to him and that is why he goes in to save her

idk wut any one says ice cube sucks as a action hero and vin diesel is better flat out and the rock would not be a good choice for XXX
