Perhaps the most amazing thing about the performance is that MTT conducted the long an complex symphony entirely from memory, without a score. I've had the pleasure of hearing severaal of the world's great symphony orchestras, including two other performance of Tchaikovsky's Fifth, and this was easily the most impressive. Thank you Chico Performances. Bring one of the world's greatest and most entertaining maestros back!
