How do you know what guidance Paris is receiving at home?
All you hear is what the media and the tabloids are saying about her.
And just like in Michael's case, you believe everything the media feeds you.
Brooke Shields started as a child movie actress. I think she is a well adjusted woman. Dakota Fanning is also doing great, she is a very mature young lady. It was good enough for Janet Jackson, doing "Good Times", and parading sexually on stage at the age of 8, but for some jealous reason, she wants to deny Paris the same limelight. The Jackson's are a show business family, but for some selfish or jealous reason they don't want Paris to benefit from her talents and gifts. She is a very pretty young lady. Beauty is a gift.
I have not heard of Paris having sex, smoking, drinking or doing drugs. I have not heard of her having trouble behaving in school.
I have not heard of her fighting in school, and that says a lot about her character considering all the haterz, like you, I'm sure she is facing at school. Paris is doing great. She is very spunky too. She has a good strong mind. She stands up for herself, her father and her family. If Janet and her brothers don't kill Katherine, Paris will do great. Remember, it wasn't Katherine who beat and pushed their children so hard, it was Joe. Katherine was the nurturung one.
If Paris were receiving guidance, she wouldn't be speaking in public, all the time. Insofar as school is concerned, she herself said she doesn't have many friends, and I think that's sad.

All of the people you mentioned have had problems. You're using bad examples. But how ironic you should mention Brooke Shields. Her mother let he pose nude when she was ten years old. Then when she became famous, the photographer sold the collection of photos in a book, titled "Sugar & Spice." She publicly tried to stop it. Ironic, isn't it, that she became Michael's pal.

You don't know if she's happy. She's still a child, and no 14-year-old child is mature enough to make good decisions.
She is happy because she is displaying all the signs of a well adjusted teen. She is loving life and looking forward to her future.

There are 14 year olds out there who are much wiser and a lot more mature than a lot of adults.

You are speaking from the perspective of a non-show business person.
Show business people do go to school, just not the same way as non-show business people. It's a choice, and I think at 14 yrs. old, Paris is old enough to decide what type of career she wants for herself. It's not like she will ever have to worry about money.
It's not like she has to go to college to support herself. She has plenty of time between age 14-18 to decide if she wants to go to college. There are also performance art schools.
It is okay for Justin Bieber and all the other Mickey Mouse child stars, but not for Paris?
Again, the Jackson's are a show business family. To throw Paris into that type of family, see the glamor of it all, and then tell her "no, its not for you", is really mean, cruel and selfish.
Chas. She's a C.H.I.L.D. Children have dreams, but the bottom line is she needs to concentrate on her studies. The Jacksons may have become a show-business family, but they're all emotionally damaged from it.

I had to laugh when you mentioned the Mouskateers. One of them wrote a book about the pressure and emotional toll being a child star takes on the psyche. It's titled, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, But Don't Have Sex or Take the Car."

Pulling out of the shadow of a Great Legend may be a difficult task, for Paris Jackson to achieve. I hope she finds her own way and her own talents in time. Micheal Jackson's genius was something that only happens in the world of the arts just few times during the course of a century. Someone wise needs to tell her don't try to beat your dad just focus on developing your own unique talents and you will have a happier outcome to your life.
Her father is her hero and always will be.

Paris is pursuing her dreams within an acting career. She is a strong minded young lady and is brave to give it a go. I wish her all the best.

Yes a true hero, but it was a lost cause when he died in the September 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya:-(

How does Paris and her love for her father fit in the picture. She is not a religious extremist.
