There are threads that are here and there but lets check in over there some too. Go to Elvis Presley Topix Forum and post on a thread .There seems to be more people posting over there lately so I thought I'd try to get some of you to go check it out.

But f'loons are fun, Jim. They fall for the bait laid in the trap, every time. Overall, Elvis fans are too sensible.

I'm with you and just posted on the thread you created. There are no Wacko fans left here anyway, only trolls like GV, Jerome, Slimemj and Anna The Spamma so a change of scene would be nice.

Over there we have DC (your stalker), KE (the paedophile), Lee (dubbed 'clueless'), Gordo,(the barely thinking person's IC), Maurice (the egotistical old jerk off) and freespirit (under any one of her many other nics).

Sounds like a done deal to me.

Its topix so if you go to Elvis Presley Topix Forum after that you can just click on your name and your profile pops up. IT shows threads you've been on and you can go back and forth from Mj to Elvis topix by clicking on those threads.

Elvis Eclipses Michael Jackson is on both. You have to type in Elvis Presley Topix Forum to get to the Elvis forum. After you post on Elvis topix- click on your name to get to your profile it shows threads you recently posted on and how you got there. It tells for example if you posted on thread -Who's the King- when you were on Elvis topix or when you were on MJ topix or if you were on Beatle topix because its there too..

I saw where Dolby ragged on your drawing. He may be one smart SOB, but he seems like a jerk to me.

Hey, there are currently 23 people viewing this forum (I presume they're daily accumulated figures?) and 55 people viewing the Elvis forum.

It took Wacko 3 years to be half as popular as Elvis has been for 35 years. All hail the true king.

Jina -Elvis is a phenomonom -more people have spent more time thinking about him than any other human. I have spent more time thinking about him than anybody-enjoying his music ,etc. wondering why he did this ,how come he didn't do that. Thirty five years after his death I'm still studying about Elvis. Its embarassing especialy If I was telling a non fan . There are way more extreme Elvis fans than me- MJ isn't in same league -he got people thinking about him by acting strange and then when he died he was thought about but now we're hardly even talking about him on here.

I know - now that the initial buzz over Wacko's death is over, he is just another dead entertainer, and one with a dubious heritage. He can't compete because there isn't a big enough market for him to compete in.

EPE did a great job on Elvis from a marketing veiwpoint but there had to be a receptive market or that wouldn't have worked. I can never foresee MJ having a big piece of that cake because, for most people, he is regarded as just plain old weird.

I like studying Elvis too, Jim. I just think that he was such a good person and that's really admirable. These f'loons who try to belittle him as a man just because Wacko belittled himself as a man have never taken the time to read or understand what made Elvis tick. They are poles apart.

Elvis didn't do talk shows.

He didn't go to big red carpet Hollywood events.

Elvis pretty much kept his life private.

That just added to the mystery of him.

At the same time, Elvis was very honest.

He let fans know what he was like from the stage.

If one wants to know these things, it's on bootlegs.

Elvis indirectly talked about his drug addiction.

One example would be "Love Me Tender"

He would sometimes change the lyrics live.

"Love Me Tender" (help me take the pill)

It is on the new boot from MSG 6-9-72.

Elvis never hid anything because he didn't have to.

He did his work like an everyday person.

He worked hard every day, all year round.

That is why he has such a massive catalog.

No celebrity does what Elvis did in the business.

Of course, after Elvis died...

Some in the media tried to cut him down.

But none of it ever stuck.

Elvis gave his money away to help others.

He was never selfish or greedy.

He gave Priscilla whatever money she asked for.

He took care of Lisa Marie and was a good father.

That was Elvis and nothing has ever changed.

"Left A Good Job In The City" from MSG 6-9-72...

It is an incredible import from Straight Arrow.

If you are an Elvis fan, the audience is first rate.

The sound is near perfect and it's a great concert.

A few Elvis fans do not like audience recordings.

However, this one is almost like it's in stereo.

I recommend it to anyone who might enjoy it.

I've been listening to it a lot.

I am very happy with it and it was worth the money.

Some woman in my neighborhood said something about my Elvis stuff.

She thinks my house is a shrine and now my wife wants it contained.

It really was never my intention to get out of hand with it.

Who does it hurt?

I've tried to keep it all in an Elvis room but it didn't work out.

I could've had porn all over the place but it is not who I am.

There is always going to be people who criticize it.

But it is my house, right?

The dog never complains.

Our dog rolls his eyes at me only if I play Elvis on the stereo.

So, he is not much of an Elvis fan either. He likes Prince!

But seriously, I've been told that it is too much Elvis for years.

I am very picky about it though. I go for quality Elvis collectibles.

When my wife and I were dating, she bought me some Elvis stuff.

I had to explain to her that it wasn't what I wanted.

I go for the rare stuff that is hard to find and only I can buy it.

Her friend just thought it was a bit obsessive.

However, she does not understand because she is not an Elvis fan.

Her ex husband was and she threw it all out on him.

Obviously, it must remind her of her past relationship with him.

My wife accepted it before we got married.

I will try my best to contain it better in the bigger house.

But it depends on the wall space in an Elvis room.

I'll have more storage so I'll be able to put some things away.

My wife wouldn't have married me if I had perverted items here.
