That was a short night out, Jermaine.

Did you go to the beverage center to pick up wine?

I took a ride in my 1979 Firebird for a few hours.

The motor purrrrrrs like a kitten.

Yes, my buddy and I both own it and he had the motor rebuilt.

We don't get to drive it much though.

It was a blast cruising down the highway with it.

The motor is sweet.

It is finally starting to look really sharp.

They certainly don't make em like that anymore.

We wanted to but something always comes up or it rains...

I miss the old 70's cars I used to drive when I was a kid.

We plan on making a few more improvements anyway before we show it.

I actually saw an old AMC Pacer for sale a couple of years ago.

They were pieces of junk but I haven't seen an AMC in decades.

My mom had a 1964 Mustang in 1977 but she gave it to someone.

I know that car would've been worth a fortune today.

The 60's and 70's muscle cars were great.

I had an 1978 Oldsmoble Omega I bought from an old lady in 1988.

I drove it everyday for over 3 years and never had any problems.

The car just rotted out and I was forced to get rid of it.

Really? I would love to have an old muscle car. There is a place out here that has car shows on the weekends that has lots of those really old cars from the muscle car era.

A muscle car is a fast American made car from the 60's & 70's.

People restore them and usually have V8 engines and dual exhaust.

Pontiac Firebirds, Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustangs, Dodge Chargers...

Any old American car can be restored.

It is usually a guy thing but a lot of women are into it also.

But I've seen kids do up Hondas which shouldn't be allowed...

They aren't real muscle cars.

thank you Octo.
I like those big cars in the old 50's films, where the guy takes the girl to the drive in movies and.. well, you know.

I don't go for anything before the early 60's.

But the really old cars can be worth big bucks too.

Anything from the 30's to the 50's were bubbles of steel.

I'd just rather look at mid 60's to 70's because they were fast.

They had sleek body styles and can hug the road, more fun to drive.

Jermaine, when you write posts like this, you show you're actually a likable person. This is why your mancrush on Michael doesn't make any sense. I wish you'd let go of it.

I still love the old Model T's, though. Restored, they are such a classic, even if they're not fast.

By the way, if you ever go to L.A., you should visit the Petersen Auto Museum. The collection is fabulous.

I went to the indoor Auto Museum at the Imperial Casino in Las Vegas.

It was fabulous and I spent the whole day looking at cars.

They had every kind of classic car there.

They were mostly in mint condition and some were even for sale.

They have a small Auto Museum in Saratoga, NY by the horse track.
