The elements of songwriting are simple to some: compose a melody, get some words together and turn it all to form.

I think the silence or "rests" is what makes it music and not just noise. Noise can have a melody too, but that doesn't make it music.

Laughable.

Dance music is basically all the same and is never listened to.

Anyone can dance to something with a beat.

I think MJ had a swelled up head.

He never wrote classical music like Beethoven.

Complex pieces in musical form.

That's right octo...he had always plagiarised music from different styles and musicians to compose his overrated disco music.

Richie Blackmore played classical structures on his guitar...

He incorporated classical music into his hard rock playing.

It is heard on many Deep Purple and Rainbow albums.

Brilliant but they weren't multi-million sellers like "Thriller"

Wacko danced to a kiddie crowd for a pop market that is artless.

That is why the music industry has downsized greatly in recent years.

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, One Direction...noise.

Wacko is the model for what the industry went for.

It is cheaper to auto tune vocals to pre-recorded beats.

It can never replace recording properly in a real recording studio.

Wacko claimed that he listened to classical music, right?

Yet, he could not play one musical instrument.

He certainly couldn't write a complex musical piece.

Nor could he write lyrics with deep complex meanings like Dylan.

I can't understand why floons still say he was a musical genius.

MJ impersonators can sound just like the clown.

They can easily reproduce his lame dance moves also.

Like the moonwalk that Wacko stole and claimed credit for.

Some of them are on You Tube, got their circus acts down perfectly.

Dated Disco or dated kiddie pop is not timeless.

Beethoven wrote music in his mind just like MJ. The pair were geneii. I take the word from the expert in the video rather than your biased and unqualified judgement.

But Beethoven's music improved, as he continued developing himself, as a composer. Michael's music went down the toilet, after Thriller. Therein lies the rub.

Michael Jackson's song his 'greatest ever work'

Mr Swedien said: "Michael plays piano on it, and it's just beautiful." He added: "Oh my God, there's nothing like it."

Simply because floons don't understand what is the real music, they're just attracked by his clown moves ! its enough for them.

You're comparing Beethoven's complex pieces to MJ's kiddie pop?

Liberace even knew how to play classical music on piano.

When did MJ ever play even one instrument 40 years in show business?

If Beethoven could come back to modern times, Wacko wouldn't be it.

And MJ's songs are laughable as real musical pieces of art.

Richie Blackmore and Yngwie Malmsteen could understand Beethoven.

I guess some kids do know Elvis, huh?

Kind of funny since you claim that kids don't know Elvis music.

You lied.

The dude obviously knows how to sing a little like Elvis.

It is cool.

It's better than impersonating the clown which would get you beat up.

Yet, some know how to copy MJ perfectly and make money doing it.

Floons are mentally stuck at 5 or 6 years of age.

They will never move on to listen to superior artists.

It's quite amusing since there are thousands of acts better than MJ.

Floons are easily impressed by the clown's old sales with Thriller.

It's like a 35 year old still watching Barney.
