On HITS projections, Xscape will drop to No. 7 selling between 30-35K.

According to Billboard/Soundscan, total sales of Xscape are 224K.

Brantley Gilbert's album by comparison, which debuted with the year's third best-selling first week sales at 211K, is projected to do 60-65K next week to keep its No. 2 berth. His sales will be well above Xscape's.

In the UK midweeks, Xscape has dropped to No. 5 after being at No. 3 for several days. It might still have a chance at #3 but two albums' sales increased, which led to Xscape dropping to #5.

The dead Michael Jackson had a huge promotional push by Sony, which led to Xscape doing fairly good business on its debut week. However, the album is already falling down the charts with very disappointing second and third week sales. After listening to the remixes of the new posthumous Wacko CD on You Tube, I come to the conclusion that the Michael Jackson selections pulled from the vaults are extremely weak at best. Only a few songs truly reach the level of being worthy but for floons only. Quite frankly, the remix version of the release is very short. It is amazing that some critics are giving it such high ratings because for the most part, Xscape lacks memorable songs. It is just another money grab for Sony using excessive hype to get certain people excited enough to buy the crappy Michael Jackson package. Unfortunately, the clown's audience has been downsized greatly since his pathetic drug overdose in 2009. I think Sony expected a better performance. They seem to want to ignore that the dead clown molested seven to ten year old boys in his filthy Neverland love den while he was still alive and kicking. They seem to want to believe that the general public has very short memories or maybe they believe that since Wacko is dead, all should be forgotten and forgiven. Obviously, that is not the case. I've noticed that there are plenty of copies of Xscape at retailers packed on the racks, untouched and unsold. That cost Sony money producing too many CD's for the market. In the months to come, the posthumous cd will be a bottom shelf item and will wind up in bargain or clearance bins like all the other cd's in the dead clown's laughable catalog.

I remember a story in the UK like months before the album came out saying that they believed the album was gonna sell a million alone in the UK. It's early, yes, but if they're expecting a million in the UK, they might be hoping Santa Claus is actually real because it looks like it'll only sell as much as 84,000 copies after its third week sales tally is totaled. 2010's Michael only went platinum in the UK (over 300,000 copies). This looks like it may just go gold (100,000) and then drop afterwards. If people weren't hyping this up, this would be looked on as a success.

The clown's new posthumous release was planned to come out during a slow month with no other big names putting out albums at the same time. Nevertheless, The Black Keys and Coldplay are even outselling the disgraced and very dead clown. For all the hype and promotional head start that Sony has given it, Michael Jackson's Xscape is doing extremely poor business regardless of its laughable positive reviews in many publications of clueless critics that believe that this crapola is the album of the year. The hologram was definitely designed to increase sales but it must be very disappointing for Sony that their millions of dollars spent on its campaigns failed to get the desired results they expected. It is obvious that they had had high hopes on the dead pedophile's vault material. No matter what, they can not cover up the fact that the album is total garbage. Most people continue to ignore the musical butchery of a worthless clown that deserved what is left of his tarnished legacy being driven even further downwards by this rubbish. Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck's child molestation civil lawsuit against the greedy Jackson estate is near. Karma.
