Achh. Silly sports metaphors and a fictional satirized tv character as role model.
This is tragic but perhaps a window into the disease that contributed to this meltdown. Testosterone fueled "success" without purpose, as an end and not a byproduct, just to prove who is "top dog."
Alex Keaton was a fictional character portayed by an actor who couldn't be more different. Ironically, an actor who today lives with great purpose and meaning advancing a cause to help millions.
Did this man have a family? How unfortunate that he couldn't simply step down from this job if it was so crushing, that corporate "success" was so self-defining and consuming.

Makes you wonder what he saw. Or what he perhaps wanted to reveal.
Did his integrity get him killed?
