He is nothing more than a pawn being used for political gain. He uses his illness to try and scare people. When he stumps for his cause or for a dem he stops taking his meds to make his illness look worse for the camera. To me that is sad. He has done alot of good things for his cause but to try and scare people to vote for DEMS by not takeing his meds so that he will shake more is just stupid.

Stem Cell Research is another issue that shows how out of touch the Republicans are. Most Americans want Stem Cell Research, the Religious Right doesn't. The Religious Right gets their way.
Why should a minority dictate constantly to the majority?

By making people believe he would be cured if Democrats are elected is irresponsible and wrong. Science does not say it will cure these terrible diseases. If he wants to elect democrats fine but do it the correct way.

And what do you think the Republicans were trying to do with their "terror ad" that just came out? You know, the one with BinLaden pictures and quotes?

I guess the republicans will now find a bunch of liars to swear Fox really doesn't have Parkinson's.

Limbaugh has sunk to a new low... he keeps lowering the bar so much, I didn't think it possible.

For a Republican to accuse someone else of being disingenuous and unethical is laughable. Bush, Rove, et al wouldn't have won in '04 without orchestrating fear of BinLaden, "terrorisms" or gay-marriage.

The reason they are scrambling so hard to talk about the economy now - is because everyone the old trusty message isn't working.

I applaud Michael J. Fox for having the courage to speak out about something that is meaningful to him and to others. Rush Limbaugh is a fat, pill-popping pig who merely puppets what he is told by others and really is a feather in the wind when it comes to the word meaningful. He really should be ashamed of himself, for many reasons. Let Limbaugh get Parkinson's and lets see which side of the bandwagon he climbs on.

The claim that Micael didn't take his medication is ignorant...or purposefully deceptive.
Anyone with any knoledge of Parkingson's knows that its suffers shake BECAUSE they are taking their meds. Let untreated, people with Parkingson become so immoblie they are unable to even speak.
Russ Limbaugh is a liar, has always been a liar, and will continue to be a liar.... He's a trusted servant of the Father of Lies!
Any person of faith should totally repudiate any support they may have ahd for this liar.

He's a sincere man with a just cause... instead of flushing little wads of cells down the toilet, allow them to be used to save lives and better the quality of life of many. Have a heart.

I remember when those wanting transplanted organs were treated at cruelly.

Good for him. I can't believe Bush is against this. Its not abortion. They're taking something from an aborted fetus and using it for something positive. I'm ashamed I vote for bush the first time. you know that they take babies foreskin after it's been cut off and use it to make coldsore medications? It's true, I saw it on the news once. Thats a living thing that was cut off to die and it's used to aid herpes. Why in the hell wouldnt you use this stemcell research to do something even more wonderful?

oh, one more thing. Some babies are aborted for medical reasons. sometimes moms lives can end if they have their babies. If it's such a moral issue, why not just limit stemcells from those aborted babies. Im sure world wide there is enough of these to be useful. anyone ever think about that? perhaps an abortion that was needed because mom was raped by dad or because her body will die if she gives birth. I hate these blanketed laws. Some rules should apply

Antioch, they won't do these things because it may bring a cure for these horrible diseases and then how would the pharmaceutical bigwigs make all of that money?

One would think that the Republicans would want to distance themselves from the Limbaugh pig, considering how much trouble they are in now?

It's so easy to stereotype an illness people obviously nothing about. Even if he did take his medicine he will still have these symptoms. This is a FATAL disease. The medicine only works for so long and then none helps. After 16 years of struggling with this disease, I tip my hat off to him. And as for embryonic stem CELL research (yes, that's one cell!) Not two! I think you should open up a biology book because apparently people are uneducated on the issue. You lose cells everyday. That doesn't mean you lose a baby every time you lose a cell.

I am shocked and appalled by the comments of Rush Limbaugh. Stem cell research offers hope to those that have none. If stem cells that would be thrown away can be used to help find a cure for disease, is it wrong? I don't think so.

Its really bizzare to see "Christians" trying to stop a gift that God has given us. He doesnt want us aborting children to experiment on, but as I mentioned, some Births are considered wrong even in the eyes of God. and though I can't quote scripture, I recall something about a child not being alive until it takes its first breath of air. At least not in spirit. And children are victems of Still Born everyday. those children (if given permission by mom and dad) can offer hope to other children. I understand the moral issue of making a business out of killing babies to make drug companies money or the hospitals but there can be some guidelines put into place to still have research. And if this country doesnt do it, others will.
