Elijah was my cousin and there is no law suit. He only fell under peer pressure. He just wanted to try something new and he never thought it would take his life away. Elijah was 1 of my favorite cousin and it hurts to read peoples comments to judge my aunt and uncle like this. So if ya'll people didnt know these people never wwalked a day in their shoes and never will dont judge them!!!!

Peer pressure can be a deadly weapon for children. I lost a son to the pressure of his peers. My prayers are with the family and friends that suffer such a loss. Don't be saddened by the inappropriate comments of a few. There are those of us who support you in our prayers.

Tragic story, but why was there a message left with Robert Zamekis???? This kid was responsible for HIS own actions. NOT Robert Zamekis. Is someone ELSE always to blame? Oh, yes, I guess mammy and pappy see a lawsuit..... I think back on all the stupid things I did as a kid, things that clearly could have gotten me killed. Ultimately, it was my own stupidity, nobody else's fault.
I agree. Some of us survive being young and stupid and from those experiences, become older and wise. But then again, there are those who survive and remain stupid.

It's sad what happened to the boy, but you are right, he made the decision to take the risk, and he paid the price. But I see no lawsuit here, you can't blame the results of someones actions on a movie or tv show. They may see it, but they are the ones who act upon those images. The people involved in the show are not saying to do the things you see, it's only for entertainment purposes.

Haven't you guys at one time or another done something stupid? Don't judge. The kid made a mistake and it cost him his life. How sad. May his death be a lesson to all.

Yes, I certainly have done some very stupid things in the past, when I was a teen. Such as hitchhike , by myself, accepting rides at night from complete strangers. If that isn't stupid, I don't know what is. I would never do that now, but then, I didn't think twice. I'm just fortunate that one of those rides did not turn out to be my last. I'm not judging this young man and if it appears to you that I am, I truly apologize.

For whatever reason it happened, and I don't know because I was not there, I'm just sorry that it had to take his life. May he rest in peace and may his friends and family find comfort.

Wow RIP and I have the family in my thoughts. Im still a teenager and have done tons of stupid crap. I lived in springfield gardens and went to school there and I've done tons of stupid pranks and stunts so I anybody that thinks this kid was stupid can go f**k themselves plain and simple.
