We are overdue for the merging of municipalities. A reworking of our governmental arrangements is the only thing that will allow any practical method of gorvernment to work in the future.
Let's not forget that the main reason Mt. Wolf exists is that Manchester needed a railroad station. The same with Shrewsbury and Railroad.
Yes, some of our smaller places have low taxes, but they also offer almost no services, they go begging for fresh blood in their local governments, have unfilled govt. positions, and will not be able to handle future issues like transport and environmental issues; and it's been a long time since towns could just dump their wastes into the Codorus.

Bahh silver bullets do not kill werewolves. They just prevent the wounds to heal much akin to a stake in a vampire. Come on people get your monster mythology correct if you are going to try to be cute with it.

Pennsylvania politicians, from Township supervisor to Senator, all have the same thing in common, lack of being able to do what is best for the citizenry. I've given up on the political process in this state and the country. The average guy means nothing to a politician except when he/she wants your vote, then they lie to you to get it!

Please don't give up, Conservative. Even though I'm a Liberal, it will only be through people who see the political problems like yourself who can tear out the bad in the system and give back the power to the citizens of PA.
What is missing is an effective way to gather and plan change at the grass roots level. We need to take back our government at all levels.
