I am from Missouri also and my husband has a form of muscular dystropy call Spinal Muscular Atropy
I adore my husband but I will vote no on this admendment. Yes I think Rush is and idiot but for so many reasons not just this. And yes I do think MJF went off his medicine to look worse. And I dont think it is any of his business comming to this area and sticking his nose. He doesnt live here and has no business being here

I have MS, and if I were famous and thought that going off MY meds would help raise awareness and open a door for new research, I'd be throwing my syringes away, like, YESTERDAY.

I think that to not pursue stem sell research is a waste of an untapped resource.

Michael J Fox is an actor endorsing liberal politicians, something actors have done for decades.
Political ads by nature are misleading and inaccurate so why pay attention to them.
Limbaugh is the shock jock, the Howard Stern, of political reporting. Just another breed of self-centered entertainer.
Take each for what they are worth and don't get your underoos in a bunch.
Agreed. Limbaugh is a sensationalist. He's says things like this intentionally to get a rise out of people. Sad part is, it's not the worst thing he's ever said. If you buy into this sensationalism. you are doing exactly what he wants. Just ignore it.

What he was referring to was an excerpt in Fox's book in which Fox states that whenever he does interviews about his Parkinson's - he STOPS TAKING MEDICATION so that his simptoms are more severe and "dramatic". This is NOT how he is on a daily basis, so in effect, it is very misleading to people who may come to think that this is what he lives with 24/7. Fox wrote it. He has admitted it. Now, maybe Rush didn't say it in the nicest way - but it is in fact true. Calling Rush the village idiot because he pointed out something that would mislead a lot of people is not fair. You may not like Rush - but this admission is fact - not fiction.

The real issue is embryonic stem cell research. It still hasn't been proven that embryonic stem cells will give more info. MJF was politically motivated to do this commercial. RL just gave his opinion, this is still a free country. If MJF didn't want comments made he should not be doing POLITICAL commercials.
Hasn't been proven? You're obviously not a scientist. Lugh Scumbag is a fool who deserves to get a disease himself. And you can go to hell too.

Do you think FOX likes to HAVE TOO take medication period.Rush is an ass...and he acted like one on his show, i personally think Rush did it for attention, it was mean and spiteful no matter how you try to candy coat it.Since when is it misleading too show what the disease really looks like.

Whether or not he's on his meds, Parkinson's IS something he lives with 24/7 - symptoms may not be as bad but the underlying disease is ALWAYS there. It's like saying someone's only an alcoholic when they're drinking, or someone's only diabetic when their sugar is out of whack.

I've let some time pass, and I, too, think that YOUR village is missing it's idiot.

The more that pig acts like that, the more viewers the station gets, and the more pay he gets.
