May wrote: An excerpt from an interview MM gave while making The Project: As the son of an oil-company worker who moved from country to country a great deal, Norfolk-born Macfadyen led a somewhat nomadic early life before going to Oakham School in Leicestershire at the age of 11. He enjoyed school, but admits to being “a bit of a rebel”. He blotted his copybook by breaking one of the golden rules.“I was suspended for two weeks for being caught with a girl” he grins.“We were at the back of the sports hall at a Valentines Day disco and were caught halfway into it, which was expressly forbidden. It was very embarrassing but at the same time it gave me a certain amount of kudos. My folks didn’t tell me off or anything. Even the headmaster had a twinkle in his eye when he suspended me”. How did he get away with it, oh yes that innocent, little boy lost look I bet! My, my! I DO LOVE a naughty Matthew!!! Now THAT will give me something to think on!:))))

This is at 11???... Wow...Don't we all look very dorky at 11?.. Of course not Matthew... I can totally imagine him super dashing and mysterious, specially if he describes himself as a "rebel" ....oh my... the memories arise...my first crush was a "rebel-type" I was 10 and he was 14... Didn't even occurred to him to kiss me.... oh I wanted it sooo bad!
The funniest thing is, I bumped onto him 20 years later and he said "you liked me"? I was like aghhhhhhh!! he He felt like so bad... of course 20 years can do some damage to that "rebel" image... He looked so not interesting!! HA-HA
Total ramble. SOrry ;/

I have a small boy (age 2) and to think he could be doing something like this at 11?!(Is that the age he said in the ariticle?) I do not know if I would be able to take it in stride as his parents did. Well, he did say he was a rebel. An early bloomer in the art of kissing and from what is seems using the US baseball reference 2nd base... I wonder if he was THAT naughty prior to becoming a married man? An active imagination is a good thing. LOL

You give me grief fellow countrywoman , with your ignorant and prejudiced opinion, apart from irrelevant and intrusive. Think about your words. I, as a fan of Mr. Macfadyen, by his acting and personal abilities I, felt offended, and, as a chilean fan I felt ashamed. Excuse me, but I need to say it.
