I love how these idiots show up for 'disasters'. Where the hell are them day in and day out?

Matt Damon showed up to make a splash and feed his press and ego. Big friggin' deal. If he really wants to help, how about staying there 6 months straight and do the physical work. Better yet, do that in your own country.

Whoever coined the phrase 'Celebutard' was right.

just because america is a country of wealth does not mean we have to help others before we help our own. the people of haiti are suffering the consequences of a hurricane, true. however, they are also suffering because of the deforestation of the island that was caused by the people.

there are plenty of people in the u.s. who lost everything they have because of ike. it is time to take care of u.s. citizens before we worry about the rest of the world.

if celebrities want to give monetary aid to those affected by hurricanes, that's fine. give your money as most american citizens do and don't turn it into a photo opportunity. no one in haiti cares about matt damon, all they wanted was money and food. i'm sure jean's mini concert was forgotten the minute his helicopter took off.

ALL THE HAITIANS DO ALL DAY IS SIT AROUND and PLUG EACH OTHER. THEY ARE TRYING TO SEE WHO GETS PREGNANT FIRST! THEY GOT THIS IDEA FROM RABBITS. SEX ISN'T THE ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING BUT IT DOES HELP AND IT FEELS GOOD.

If you stop giving hand outs, then and only then will they have to get off their duffs, and do something!

My $$ goes to those affected in Texas... when will this country realize that you have to take care of your house first, then you can help others... that is what has screwed this country up so freakin bad!!
Would you feed the neighbor kid before your own??
These people live on an island in the Atlantic, they will get hit by storms... cant avoid it... have to live with it!!

Rice and beans and oil to fry them in. It makes my mouth water thinking about it.What do Matt and Wyclef expect them to do with it, when they have no homes to take it to and cook it? Or even fuel for a fire, and pots and pans to cook in.I'm sure they won't be giving it too much thought when they are back in their mansions.
I was there in the early 80's...most of the poor at that time had no homes...just sticks..with some sought of fabric as a roof...and they dig a hole in the ground to cook..no idea what they used for pots...so what I see on TV ..it looks the same.....little kids begging out side the hotels..big bellies and all....beautiful mountains with trees...so I assume that is what they cut down and never replaced...and that is why all the floods...maybe Matt could plant a few trees while there...

A special touch was when the military came to our plane with rifles...and search the plane we came in on....just about took the seats out...who knows why...never ask questions to a haitian with a rifle..

Hey, did they go to The Turks and Caicos too? Did they show up in Montserrat when the volcano tore that island up?

No?

Gotta love those PR moments....
