If the MLK center really wants to honor the Martin Luther King legacy .....They would abandon the Democratic Pary , register Republican & work with those who really are promoting equality & opportunity for blacks instead of just using those they claim to represent.
Thats right...MLK was a Republican! By the way so was Abraham Lincoln.

MLK was a good guy... total opposite of obama. Obama is something MLK produced the morning after a big feed of catfish and a gallon of cheap wine

MLK was killed by our own government with the help of J Edgar Hoover so maybe Obama should reopen the investigation if he truly cares about the plight of blacks instead of standing at the podium honoring his passing and praising his accomplishment that help put him in office. Hoover was in bed with the mob and behind the series of assassinations in the 60's which by no coincidence ended after his own death. So stick your chest out supporters and knock of the BS

Oh Boy!.......I think the antennas on your tinfoil hat are crossed, conspiracy theories are old history. Your delusion for the FBI/Mob hit on MLK was investigated by several private groups with the money & inside contacts years ago & found to be BS.
It is likely that the shooting was not the work of a lone gunman James Earl Ray but his associates were not the FBI or the mob.

I find it odd that you condemn and belittle me about conspiracy theories then confirm your own and agree that it was not the way our government told us. So how then could the FBI not be involved if as you say it was not J E Ray since that is their position? If you read ANYTHING about Hoover he was deeply involved with the mob, he spent much time at the race track collecting winnings and publicly stated "there is no organized crime network" also Hoover was a cross dresser and the mob threatened blackmail him with photos but more than that he knew they could take him out as easy as they did to their primary antagonists- the Kennedy's. Hoover was a racist and clashed with King and what he stood for, Hoover was the ONLY one that had the motive ,means ,and opportunity because he was in complete control of the investigation and its conclusion
