Oh My Gosh! You mean the Fed thinks there is price manipulation? No?

DUH - the rest of us have known this since the aftermath of the Katrina Hurricane.....took the government almost 3 years to figure it out?

Give me a break.

Only in America...One would think if you stepped on people you will do it again. Greed and more greed and all those who can possible put a stop or at least slow this thing down wait and wait and we foot the bill. If I made the same $$ as the Senate I guess I wouldn't be rushing to fast to find the culprits. After all there are so many people with their fingers in the pudding. Between lobbyists loop holes and driving up the cost of oil I think most people are whimps. It's time to stand and march on Washington and demand answers. Did you notice when the oil mongers were questioned we stood there and accepted their answers to their profits. It didn't get anyone anywhere, it was just a ploy to quiet the voices ..AGAIN..Sick & Tired..Did you know when talking with elders about the mess our country is in they are glad there old. Won't be round later and just how bad it's gonna get. Amen....My sentiments exactly..I'm not to far from old myself.

Check out youtube.com ... do a search for Lindsey Williams. Watch all eight segments (about 90 minutes total). He talks about price fixing and who is actually benefiting. I think you'll be amazed.

OH my, say it isn't so....Traders are CHEATING...to make a profit and manipulate the price? Oh say it isn't so.....well, its true...THEY LIE, CHEAT, and TRADE. They will trade a contract back and forth with their buddy in the pits 7 or 8 times in the course of a trading day. I know of a trader...a gold trader...who traded single contracts, 32 times in one day.....every he would buy back....what he just sold...and then sell again...and make a profit. Sounds nice...but those who suffer...are YOU....MR. CONSUMER, MR . TAXPAYER

So, they have decided to investigate the financial rapists. The people they are investigating will never go to prison, the ones being investigated will be able to buy their way free with our money. Can you loan me 4 dollars? It is for gas and food.$3.81 for a gallon of gas and 19 cents for some ramen noodles.

If they (big oil who owns the government) keep it up with making the middle class poorer, there will be civil unrest/war. Then there will be one government, one party and one government oil company.

Commodities traders are leeches. Sucking the life out of the economy. It should be against the law. But wait, Congress allowed oil and gas trading in the first place. Think they are going to change that. This "investigation" is pure election year posturing to cover up the fact that they never ever do anything to help the American people. Just keep that PAC money rolling in.

In the world of food when beef goes up we can witch to chicken. No such luck in the transportation world We need a truly viable alternative so that we as consumers can truly flex our muscles. Sheik Yamani warned the Saudis in the 70's that the stone age did not end bacause of a lack of stone. Some attempts have been made in developing alternative fuel engines but no where near enough to impact the market. What we need is some real consumer activism to give the oil companies the one fingered salute.

The ONLY way to fix this is to nationalize the oil industry.
It is too vital to leave it to the private sector.
They have lost the public trust.

oil prices dropped 4.00 a barrel today guess the prices will go up another $1.00. So now there caught so what are they going to do for the consumer charge them 10.00 a gallon to pay there legal fees. We know people who work for some of these oil companies we were told 2 years ago that they were going to try to make gas 5.00 a gallon.

The oil companies are a bunch of crooks and have caused devastation to alot of families and they will never ever be punished. I say free gas for everyone in the United States for 3 months.
