Mantegna is doing a terrific job. I think his personality is better suited to the show than Patinkin but, and a big but, I like Patinkin and wish he would be the star of some other show. Certainly someone can come up with a vehicle to use his many talents. I enjoyed him in Criminal Minds because it was the only way I could see his acting, but I think he woould be better suited to something more cerebrel.

This man is sooooo sexy he should be voted one of the sexiest men alive. His acting ability is incredible and I would love to see him in many many more movies. Great move for criminal minds my favorite show.

Joe Mantegna is almost exceeding his role. As a diehard CM fan, he has definitely erased the former and irascible Patinkin quite honorably from dwelling on him. Hats off to your excellent take on the almost impossible task of replacing Gideon, you've done it flawlessly!!!

I am so glad to have the chance to see Joe Mantegna's work on a regular basis. I first "fell in love" (just kidding) with the actor through his movie roles.
