Hi: I'm the bassist with Swing'39. We are performing at the Great CT Traditional Jazz Festival in Moodus, CT this weekend, as we have for the past 4 years. In today's ' -July 24, 2008-RIFFS JAZZ NOTES-It's A Weekend Of Traditional Jazz At Moodus Resort' the Swing'39 you described is not us. We are the Swing'39 that has performed at the Moodus festival to standing ovations. You may have seen us live at the Great Traditional Jazz Festival in Moodus, CT, or heard us on NPR and various radio and television broadcasts. Swing'39, performing this weekend at the Great CT Trad Jazz Fest in Moodus, CT, is Bill Lezotte on vocals and guitar, Steve Jones on vocals and guitar, and David Bobo Lavorgna on acoustic bass. Whoever supplied you with the bio you printed today was wrong-as wrong as brown shoes with a tuxedo. Please print this correction so the confusion (and all the phone calls I've been getting) with cease!! Thank you for your consideration and for supporting live jazz.-David Bobo Lavorgna, Swing'39
