I worked there in the mid 60's around 1965-67, I remember Ray Charles, I waited on him while he was on stage.

I remember Herb and Walter, Herb was a real nice guy, Walter was demanding, don't leave a table dirty or you were in big trouble.

The bartender that was there was called "Bill the Bartender." A helpful sort that told me not to pay attention to Walter. Bill made my son a Roy Rogers drink once.

The food was good as I recollect, been a long time.
