Bobby was great... talented, interesting, and fun. I live in Glendale, right next to Adventist Hospital. Oh God.

If you can use my services at the memorial: I do strolling guitar/vocals (worked several times with Bobby), I play dixieland banjo, and I own a P.A. At your service.

We were all shocked at the death of Murray Korda in 1998 - Bobby said, "he's just not here" as he took over Monseignor Strings. We were all just as shocked with Bobby's sudden death - I saw him only a few days before - he was his normal self, happy, energetic and talking about cell phone plans because he needed more minutes for work which he never stopped until that fateful day; he asked me to call him to see his new house, swim at a friend's and visit his pig Sam, because we were worried Sam would die of old age before he and Venida saw him again. How ironic - Sam is fine, and Bobby died. I miss him, talking about so many things and the irony of life - he made everything humorous and had a great perspective.

We need more people like him in this otherwise wicked world.
