El Pasoans are in uproar after the bill was passed. They've long been asking for comprehensive immigration reform but now fear that a similar law could be passed here in the Lone Star State.

We need to remember and focus on the problem. We are fighting crime against the Mexican Cartel, not Russians or
Polish. It is a Mexican problem with all the crimes against
law abiding people living on the border. So YES to Mexican
profiling !! Its Mexicans who are here Illegally who are
breaking the law, transporting Drugs and Killing people.
So instead of protesting the Law, all Mexicans should be
helping law enforcement to fight crime. We all live in
fear with our windows and doors Barred up, because we live
on the border. It's a sad situation to live like this.

Part of the problem in El Paso is the Mayor, City Attorney, Police Chief and Sheriff all have "family" in Mexico. They're worred about "their people" and not the citizens of the city.
