Cheap.
Your company won't pay taxes. it's the minimum wage workers who will.
“In Texas, you don’t have to use your imagination, saying,‘What’ll happen if we apply this or that conservative principle?’” Perry said earlier this week.“You just need to look around, because they’ve been in play across our state for years, generating real results like unmatched job creation, more exports than any other state and a balanced budget.”
Gov. Rick Perry used federal stimulus money to pay 97 percent of Texas's budget shortfall in fiscal 2010--which is funny, because Perry spent a lot of time talking about just how terrible the stimulus was. In fact, Texas was the state that relied most heavily on stimulus funds, CNN's Tami Luhby reports.
"Even as Perry requested the Recovery Act money, he railed against it," Luhby writes. "On the very same day he asked for the funds, he set up a petition titled 'No Government Bailouts.'" It called on Americans to express their anger at irresponsible spending.
Thanks to the stimulus funds, Texas didn't have to dip into its $9.4 billion rainy day fund. Still, now that the stimulus is spent, Texas, like many other states, is facing severe cuts--$31 million must be carved from the budget.
Attention wall street communist!!! You're another nitwit who is not welcomed in Texas. You can blow smoke all you want but business is fed up with states like CA. And azzhats like you who vote for BIG GOVERNMENT at every opportunity are the problem. Texas is movin' on and there's not a damned thing you can do about it bozo.

I was born and raised in NY.

I chose to live in Texas, where I could run my business with less taxation and less interference from the government.

I love NY, and still have family there, but I'll never go back until they lower their confiscatory rate of taxation and cut their burdensome regulations.

I'm no fan of Rick Perry, but I love the pro business environment in Texas.

Texas has a history of blaming its victims. Texas government has a history rooted in Collusion with Corporate America. They collude to find a way to diminish valid lawsuits. They label them "frivolous". Texas lawsuit damage cap can't even be considered a visor. Texas justice remains blind to the average citizen. Texas is satan's anus. The grassy knoll. The bush center the newest tourist terrorism site. All roads lead to injustice (death fix it / deficit). Texas god (government of deceivers / grand OLE deceit / governing oppressive dis ease (mental illness)).

YHVH solution for American Holocaust Perpetraitors is Mongoose Protocol.

YHVH suspends mercy in response to god (government of deceivers) suspension of inalienable rights ( life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) in the American Holocaust (Moral corruption, suspension of Habeas Corpus to avoid liabilities - Fraud - Terminal Injustice - Economic oppression - Murderbyproxy - Population Control - death fix it>deficit<). Those entrusted with protecting American Citizens by enforcing the laws of the United States Constitution and refusing to do so for personal gain is Treason / Terrorism. Terrorism begets terrorism. Government Officials achieving the National goal set in Executive Order 12871 reducing government (we the people) reducing government spending (no due process, no justice, no liabilities, just murder and mayhem through lie, delay and deny til you die tactics).

Wow, that's a lot of talk for a guy from freakin' NEWARK, NJ, one of the worst cess pools in the USA- about the only time Newark comes out on top is when someone compiles a list of cities with the most gang homicides.

Yeesh, for most people, when they see the "Entering Newark" sign, they hit the accelerator and try to blow through that Hell hole as fast as possible.

Newark may be the only city in the USA that can make Detroit look like a paradise by comparison.

Judging by the old saying, "What you don't know can't hurt you," you're practically invulnerable
Check the stats. Texas is at the bottom of everything, except for low paying jobs. They've got lots of those, backed by the Federal Government and it's $$$ that Texas takes lots and lots of every year, even though they are doing "so well". lmao

Enjoy your bliss, zippy.

Attention: Teabagger in LaLa land!!!

Perry voted for BIG GOVERNMENT FOR YOU.

When BIG BUSINESS is DONE, they scoot.

Under Mr. Perry, Texas gives out more of the incentives than any other state, around $19 billion a year, an examination by The New York Times has found. Texas justifies its largess by pointing out that it is home to half of all the private sector jobs created over the last decade nationwide. As the invitation to the fund-raiser boasted:“Texas leads the nation in job creation.”

Tarik Carlton gathered with other workers in February 2011 to hear the bad news: Amazon was shutting its distribution center in Irving, where he loaded trucks for $12.75 an hour.

Business had been strong, but the online retailer did not want to pay a $269 million tax bill from the state comptroller. A standoff with the state ensued, and Amazon laid off the workers.“They didn’t have our interests in heart, truth be told,” Mr. Carlton said.

Amazon opened the distribution facility in 2005 in Irving, near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and local officials awarded the company tax breaks on its inventory.

Grab the tax money and scoot.

Who's next?

Poor teabagger.

Poor fleabagger, fall for anything.
but with the states shortfalls we are raising the salaries of our state agencies heads, director of tdcj for on 40 percent, while the workers of this establishment may see a 2.5 percent raise, while they or so shorthanded some units have mandated that their workers or forced to work 15hours and 45 minutes or loss a pay grade. way to go tx. will a tea party enthusiast at least comment on this un-conservative move.
