What concert did you go to?
And....what are your credentials?
60 million CDs sold (both in Opera and Pop) speak for themselves. His most recent Opera CD "Pagliacci" already debuts at #10 speaks for itself.
Sold out venues of 10K, 16K 21K 25K speak for themselves.
Heads of State, Premieres, Stars, TV shows and a worldwide fanship of MILLIONS speak for themselves.
How can every one ignorant and and wrong BUT you are not>??????? Your kind has been trying to get him down, predicted the worse for him but you have not been able to succeed. His success speaks LOUD and CLEAR. Enough said.

Your ignorance amazes me! Were you even at this concert? I think most of you critics sit and write your pieces before going to concerts to hear Andrea Bocelli. I was not at the Florida concert but I was at Madison Square Garden the night before. I don't know how 20,000 people could be so wrong or the critics that reviewed THAT concert. There wasn't a bad review till Florida came along. I know that he nailed every high note and then some in NY. And where is it written that an old song can't have a new arrangement? No one has to sing it the same old way.
The problem with you critics is that you are so jealous of this man's success you don't know how to write anything positive. You all repeat reviews that were given years ago. I'd like to hear anyone (Pav included) sing in an arena like these and not be amplified. There is no one that could handle that feat, not even The Three Tenors! When he does opera in a theater or on a stage performance he has never been amplified. I wish you jerks could get THAT message if no other! You all could take some lessons from the Maestro himself. You will never hear an unkind word come out of his mouth against anyone. He probably laughs all the way to the bank if he even bothers to read any of your mud slinging.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think the majority of them just follow the critic before. The all say the same thing. When they comment on him hitting the high C, I just want to scream. He hits it and hits it, he holds a note longer than any tenor I have heard. Leave him alone
