Bravo to Worldwide Pants for coming to terms with the guild- it should not be a surprise since they have been supporting their crew out of pocket from the beginning. I would think that Leno & Co. would have a hard time finding artists to cross the picket line, but then again, maybe not. What a bunch of scabs. And you, Mike Huckabee, suck for selling out. Do we need a President who will cross the line for a bit of free self promotion? Boooooooooooooo.

It's kind of amusing (sad?) that the first person to cross the picket line to be on the writerless "Tonight Show" is a Republican presidential candidate.

Sweet, the return of Leno's softball questions and mediocre interviewing skills. I wonder if his return will also include his customary watered-down for the masses monologue.

Mike Huckabee has no affiliation with the WGA, SAG or any other hollywood union. How could he possibly be "selling out".
I can't wait to see what the Directors's guild does next week when they start negotiations. Let's hope they make a reasonable deal that forces the WGA to back down on their ludicrous demands.

During the Sun Bowl today on CBS, they said that Robin Williams would be a guest on Letterman's return episode (Wed. Jan 2nd).

They're coming back because they know we can live without them, life went along just fine when they were gone. Did you really miss them?

I sure missed Conan :( Sigh. I'm one of his biggest fans though.
I also have really missed The Daily Show and Colbert Report...but then I'm a massive fan of them too, lol. Leno not so much...god damn he sucks.
Nobody cares what I think, haha :P
Sure people care what you think, that's why they have this forum.

Letterman has promised not to have pimple-faced Hollywood wannabes on his show trying to make names for themselves.

For years late night TV hosts have missed a diamond in the rough named "Uncle" Dow Thomas. One time on the air doing his bit showing a pair of oversized panties and his rendition of the song "Satisfaction" wearing an old man mask appearing the last of the living Rolling Stones will have hosts trying to book him back again before he finishes his live act. In his mid 50's it's amazing that he's been a comedy club HEADLINER when the FEATURE act who goes on before him has ALREADY been on late night shows, movies etc. It's mind boggling how the man who not only is credited with bringing comedy clubs to Ohio, much less the very first one (Wiley's Comedy Club in Dayton) has watched so many people who have performed under him that have been discovered. Yet Dow just goes on undiscovered by bigger audiences and the people in smaller cities just sit back laughing saying we saved a lot of money buying tickets thanks to bigger cities or big time show buisness never taking time to check him out or give him a shot.
