If he was playing in my back yard I wouldn't look out the window.

Billy who? Billy Martin, maybe ... There's too many ex-New Yawkahs here. Go back home -- Mayor Bloomberg needs your vote for another term.

I'm not quite sure just how big a deal this is, since I don't know how many seats are available for each show. If the venue seats 20000 people, it's a big deal. If it seats 4000 people, not so much.

I have seen Billy Joel numerous times. Each time he was fantastic! In today's economy, those ticket prices are seriously off the wall. Almost 100.00 for the cheaper tickets at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Between 350 - 500.00 for the more expensive tickets.

His promoter should change the venue to the Bank Atlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale where they can sell by a higher volume, and keep the cost of the tickets more affordable -- down to 45.00 a ticket. Also, add several dates so many people can go to see him.

Diehard fan,
I see what you're saying, but they are doing this at hard crock PRECISELY because they know people will shell out $100 or more for the shows, and probably go to more than one show even. It's a cash grab, plain and simple.

Can't provide ABBA, but KC and the sunshine band and Kool and the gang are coming there. That's about as rock as the so called Rock Hall of Fame.

However, I would go see Jeff Dunham. The guy's funny as hell.

I am not sure what all these reviews or negative comments are about. If you have never seen Billy Joel in concert, then how can you comment. I have tickets for all 5 shows and plan on getting tickets to the remaining shows at HardRock. Billy has been the love of my life for years and he just keeps getting better with age.
You're kidding, Larry the Cable Guy? How do you compare going to a comedy show to a true concert event!

I don't think Billy is bad, though it's not my preferred type of music. The fact you have tix for all 5 shows illustrates my point exactly of why it's here instead of an arena show. Fans will pay the high price, simple as that.

And no, Billy's not hard rock, but neither is Fergie or Gloria Estefan and they played there too. Neither is Larry, or Jeff Dunham, but still frigging funny. To each his own.

well he did sell out Shea stadium, so if you're a Billy fan, it doesn't matter where he plays.
