You forgot to mention that in order to have airplay, the record labels play the "radio programers" to play their songs.
Therefore, I do not believe these Billboard awards are credible.
In other words, the more "you pay, the more they play" their
songs. This award show does not reflect how good or bad is a song /artist, but on the other hand , how much money is put behind each song.
I think they should change the name of Billboards to The Payola Awards.
