You must listen to that crap on the radio nowadays. Get in touch with your heritage. Little Joe is one of the pioneers of Tejano music and a humanitarian.

Excuse me while I slip past you while you are arguing with each other. I would love to be at this show. The energy and the electricity in the Plaza will be rocking. What's wrong with you that you can't wish someone well and hope they have a chance to enjoy themselves? Music is different for everyone. Snot and Buggers is playing the Coliseum, go there.

I must agree that this is a c.r.a.p. Concert for chi-nacos. Terrible music regardless of the fact that he is a humanitarian. I'm sure mother teresa was a great singer but was overshadowed by her humanitarian work.

What a great opportunity for the City of El Paso!
Should be a money-maker week, as people will come to town for this event and stay a day, or two. This is a big production; one that other cities would've loved to have been able to lure. Suerte, El Chuco!! Do a good job, so that Little Joe will continue to visit annually! It's good for La Raza, and we should all support this event!!
People like hondo texas, Roberto, Javier Estes, Con Permiso, postaldude, and El Chorizo Vengador are good for El Paso, and for La Raza.
The rest of you folks who unfortunately have "Life and Bullshit Confused" would do good to keep your comments to yourself. You're the same negative, miserable bunch that always complains about everything. You should start a club, wallow in your pity and racism, and be living proof that:
1. Misery loves MISERABLE company
2. Phallic symbol nicknames give you a false sense of security, and BEER NUTS (false courage)
3. You're no good for El Paso
Like Little Joe sings in one of his best songs:
"Al Fin de tu camino, comprenderas tus males"
ARRIBA EL TRUENO DE MUERTE (Delta Battery, 2nd of the 14th, USMC - El Paso, Texas), currently in Helmand Province, Afghanistan and unable to attend the concert!!! OO-RRAHHHH
ARRIBA LOGCAP III Personnel - Live from the Green Zone-Baghdad, Iraq; missing the concert and missing MY Familia!!

A bunch of us grew up with the music of Little Joe, Johnny, Rocky, El Charro Negro[Bobby Butler] and the Latinairs, now La Familia.......I recently went to a dance in Victoria Tx when Little Joe played and he still sounds good playing all his classics......Little Joe is to Tejano music what Willie Nelson is to Country music, a legend.....I live in Houston, Tx where mainstream radio does not play Tejano music, the Mexican radio stations only play crap from Mexico......Tejano music is now only being played on KPFT 90.1FM, Houston, Tx, every Saturday, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, on the Bailando En Tejas Show with two great Tejano DJ legends-Gus Garza, Mr Music Man and Big Mac Attack; you can pick it up on the internet on www.kpft.org ; this show is damn good and plays hardcore Tejano music.....music by Little Joe, Conjunto Bernal, Ruben Ramos, Tony De La Rosa, Sonny Ozuna, Mingo Saldivar, La Movida, Ruben Vela, Los Chachos, Los Unicos, Ruben Naranjo and many more Tejano groups......so Tejanos all over the USA and all over the world, be sure to do what Tejanos in Houston do every Saturday evening before going out to the clubs, tune in to hear the best Tejano jams around on KPFT 90:1FM [www.kpft.org].....Tejano music, love it, live it, support it! Tejano and Proud!

I saw Little Joe Y la Familia in San Antone back in April during Fiesta. He keeps his bands fresh by getting new blood in there. There were two girls playing trumpet and they can play that horn. The only member of the band that I recognized from the Familia early years was Tom Cruz on guitar, all the other members are musicians Little Joe picks up and gives a chance in the spotlight to.
The only disappointing thing about the concert was that my favorite song "Las Nubes" was played as an intermission song. I had waited years to see Little Joe in person and when they started playing the song I got teary eyed and stuff and then he goes into his "We'll be right back, and so on...
otherwise the other songs were just as great as when I heard them on his records. The people of El Paso are very lucky to have these acts come to town and boost the town's cultural image. Enjoy!

To, no seas mamon, i doubt you could tell the difference between a rock or a diamond if it was placed on your hand. You see Little Joe and Ruben Ramos are both prized gems and not diamonds in the rough. To both of these prized gems, the people of Hondo, Texas will always welcome you with open arms. Little Joe is a Mojado with a dope problem! He looks like he just finished a fat boy and walks around in his stinky leather coat all year round. He should be sent back to Mexico and he can play for the river skimmers over there!
