Lindsay Lohan to appear in Beverly Hills courtroom on Friday

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to appear in a Beverly Hills courtroom on Friday for a progress report hearing stemming from a 2007 drunken driving case.

I am not sure which is worse, the random killing of millions of electrons in reporting this society altering story or the fact anyone really cares.

And all the while the lives of thousands of California families are continually being shattered by increasing layoffs, sorely misguided government policies, depression level foreclosures, and the loss of hope and that goes unreported day after day.

Something is oh so very wrong with our society. I can not wait to learn what vehicle is used to transport Ms. Lohan to court today.

this defendant has admitted everything - being AWOL, choosing narration and acting instead of her sentence, her plea bargain. none of these excuses would be good enough for any of the rest of us. so, she will be on the road, drunk, jeopardizing the rest of us... the same 'rest of us' who would have been thrown in the slammer because we aren't a drunken actress. shame on lohan, but shame on the judge more!
