I suppose that it seems quaint to have a presidential candidate who has Huckabee's disdain for science. However, it is symptomatic of the problem with our culture that anybody this ignorant could be considered to hold the presidency, where he would have his finger on the nuclear button. True, if I were a columnist with an eye for humor, I suppose that I could see the possibilities here. Hell, why not have Dan Quayle as his running mate, and then we could show the world that we have cornered the market on stupidity. I mean, after Bush, it would be a strong statement about what it takes to lead our country.

It speaks to the ultra-liberal tendacies of the state electorate in contrast to the rest of the U.S.

I think that a Romney/Huckabee ticket is the winner for the general election.
