I just got turned on to Dread Zeppelin, they are killer ! They do Zeppelin tunes with a reggae beat and ab Elvis impersonator singer, It is a trip and a half. Old news indeed... many years ago... early 90z I think... they tripped me out too... I'm sure you laughed your ass off. To those who don't know of them... just try to imagine the 70s fat elvis costume singing "I wanna whole lotta love..." in the kings voice! Hey maybe Plant can sing old elvis tunes when he retires... maybe that won't upset the spirits so much as some asskickin rock n roll. Funny how Plant approves of a fat Elvis singing his songs, but won't give JP the nod to do some serious encore with a real singer. Ego? Oh well, whatever, nevermind. |
