I've seen them all and there are a ton of lookalike bands out there that almost have it down. There is only one band that truly has it down and that's Get The Led Out - "The American Led Zeppelin" if you think their show is only studio versions like the record you are DEAD wrong. It is more like a musical experience that you can't get anywhere else on this planet earth - except for if Page, Plant, Jonesy, and Jason Bonham were to tour. Another band out there doing Zep worth seeing besides Get The Led Out is Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. Those guys are great too and don't wear cheesy outfits and talk with fake english accents - I saw em' in NYC and they rocked. But hey, to each their own, if you like hamburger that's ok.

Check out www.hatsofftoledzeppelin.co.uk I'm obviously biased as I play the John Paul Jones instruments but love to know what you guys think over the pond. We are managed by Warren Grant whos late father managed Led Zep themselves. We hope to come over to bring you some English Zep tribute sometime next year.

Cheers guys KOJ

After seeing & hearing the "Get The Led Out" band at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium and then at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in NH this summer, it's just a given. There are no other Zeppelin cover bands out there that even come close. It's still fun to listen others try!

I have been following this awesome Led Zeppelin Tribute band called Get The Led Out for years now. You can check them out on their website at www.gtlorocks.com and get back to me with what you think of them.
Get The Led Out is a great Tribute band, I agree. More recently, I had the priviledge to hear Black Mountainside (formerly: White Summer) and they are one bad ass cover band ever! Check them out here: http://youtu.be/YNMwLiVK_Rc

I would also add the quality of this video doesn't do them justice, but decent enough.

Hey, listened to this group and they sound pretty damn good. Might check em out at the M Room, October 10th. Maybe see you there!

I have to say I agree with Mr Kevin Oliver Jones in that Hats off to Led Zeppelin are the best tribute to Zep out there.
Of course I am a little biased as I am the drummer in the band but do check out:

I enjoyed reading all the comments on this forum, everyone has the right to their opinion,Ive been a Zep fan for over 40 yrs, and I seen them live, and in my opinion the best cover band is GTLO seen them twice, these guys are spot on with all they play. I will be as bold to say they sound better than the real Zep live.

Right On! Jim from Franklinville NJ.
Hard to believe this thread is almost 5 years old. I still get "new post" notices from Topix and get a kick out of reading them. Years later and I'm still amazed with GTLO performances. I usually see them twice a year when they come around and recently saw them at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. They rocked again! Each time I usually bring a few new friends and it's fun to see their expressions when they hear them.
Nothing like it as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait to see them again. Free 4th of July concert in CT.
