Cheap right-wing celebrity worship. Why do wing-nuts need to get fired up? Because they are the country's biggest consumer of Viagra products...both mentally and physically.

Oh and lets list who "left wingers" worship. Movie Stars, Rock and Roll Singers, Comedy Club Acts. Oh yea that makes a lot more sense than Colin Powell, and Mrs. Bush. DOUBLE LOL

I would think you lefties would get all excited at the thought of 'wing nuts' getting motivated to grow their businesses, do well and make more money - that way there is more of it for you to try to steal and spread the wealth around!

As if this weren't confusing enough already? Nice work MAWilliams.
Seize the Day already had locked up the Schottenstein Center for its event on Oct. 6.
Seize the Day's contract with OSU includes a standard provision that prohibits the university from leasing either As a result, Get Motivated will, in essence, have two seminars on Oct. 6.
Please try harder.

Yea, while Colin Powell is admiting he hired illegals to repair his house. Now that is helping the economy.

It's just basically a day long timeshare presentation. Leave your credit cards at home. I can't believe the speakers lower themselves to sell products which border on snake oil.

What is the purpose of these expensive seminars--to get people "fired up" for some vague period of time or to sell gullible people "products and services"? I'd like to more fully understand the business model that would cover all the overhead (speakers' fees, auditorium rental, travel expenses, and advertising) and still make a profit.
They must be selling expensive products and expensive "services."
Thoughtless people will spend a small fee for the privilege of spending a
great amount of money on these vague "products" and "services." (CD recordings of the marvelous speeches?)
And shame on Jim Tressel for participating.

Colon Powell is a jerk that couldn't motivate anybody. He is a Democrat wearing Republican clothing. What else would you expect to come out of a Colon other than crap.

Lhota, you are 100% correct. I went to the "Let's Get Motivated" back in '05 (with Zig and Giuliani) and it was one big sales pitch for software to track your stock trades.$1,000 a pop. Ooh, and talk about PREACHY!!! It was like a tent revival in there. I begged my boss not to go this year and she sent a coworker instead.

Since I get the feeling you did not like my post I am going to assume you ARE one of the "lefties" I was talking about. And if you are you should be happy Colin Powell is "hiring" illegals, don't all you lefties want them to take over the U.S. so they can all vote for the DEMwits who want to give them OUR money and services. Triple LOL

Yes, they should be out worshipping the marxist Kenyon and learn how we can all join the movement to fundementally change America. At least you admit most biz owners are right of center and not some obo loving leftist.

I always wondered if and to what degree events like these are Republican backed. I went to a Get Motivated event in Cincinnati a few years ago and saw Guiliani and John Ashcroft, among other speakers.

What is a croc, this post, the seminars, the DEMwits the Republicans, I think you need to be more specific. See, if you think the site is croc, dont's read it. If you think the seminars are a croc, do not attend. If you don't like Dems vote Rep. If you don't like Rep. then vote Dem. EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion. Certain people on here crack me up. If "they" could make money speaking a venues they would jump on it! Oh except the DEMS, they would pass and say just give my fee to all the lazy, freeloaders who don't want to work. I just can't stop LOL (ing) Everyone sees right thru ALL the lefties and they are in a panic !!!!!!

Why is the Dispatch treating this like some kind of battle? It sounds like very similar venues on different dates, not much of a battle to be had here.
